Make a Fish Trap: Save money on food!

This is a fish trap.  How was it made?

Items purchased from dollar tree: Two wire mesh waste baskets. One wire mesh pencil holder.  Optional one plastic tumbler cup (cup may be clear water bottle or clear plastic cup) or funnel and one mesh laundry bag (to hold bait supplies)

Step 1: Cut a hole at the bottom of the mesh pencil holder.

Step 2: Cut a hole the size of the mouth of the pencil holder at the bottom of one wire mesh waste basket.

Step 3: Insert the wire mesh pencil holder into the wire mesh waste basket so that a funnel is formed.

Step 4: Use string or wire to tie the waste baskets together and secure the wire pencil holder to the bottom of the wire mesh wastebasket.  Optional: cut open a door and fully secure the wastebaskets to each other or use strings that untie to open up fish trap.

Step 5: Optional: Insert a tumbler cup with the bottom removed into the wire mesh pencil holder to create a longer tunnel.

Step 6: Insert bait into a mesh laundry bag and weight it down with rocks at the bottom of the basket.

Step 7: Drop basket into water and secure with ropes so that trap can be recovered in 24-48 hours.

Character and Behaviour resources.....

I have a large list for this.  Why?  Because I have children from a home that came out of single parent home in the generation before us and I can tell something like "character" was a missing element.

I don't reccomend video unless it is OLD......like before 1970's types classic movies.  I notice how in looney tunes, the people encourage gentlemen behaviour.  Many characters are often tricky but yet kind about it.

4. www.gordontraining.com I would reccomend starting with this advice as I have worked in a nursinghome and KNOW how we sometimes do not understand other people's opinion on things.  This is secular, but he HAD EXPERIENCE with actual people.

5. www.raisinggodlytomatoes.com Good at showing that we need to get their attention.  Just say no to spanking after age 3 though.....

6. www.nogreaterjoy.com Good at pointing out that children need confidence to water a garden and do chores with parents.  Like "tomatoes" website, don't rely heavily on spanking aspect as I have been around Amish too, and they DO get mental illness unlike they claim that they don't because of  work-ethic.  Keeping child engaged and with good attitude is important.

7. Messianic Method.  READ READ READ psalms and proverbs to child daily if possible.  Point to "heart" when the bible mentions heart.  Have child point to "ear" when it mentions ear.  When they are older, the word "scorn" "derision" "kindness" "thankfulness" can be more properly defined.... (I have middle east relative and I know the sensitivity to "behaviour" if you will).....they are now lawyer and doctor.

8. Lastly from aboverubies.org...... point out GOOD things that the child is doing and encourage these good behaviours.

9. www.oldfashionededucation.com/character.htm has a wide variety of OLDER books that serve well in character and wisdom about its importance.

Have a good time home-education and ENJOY each simplicity in each day.  Yes, one may use secular AND bible based directions  and the child will be thankful you were not afraid.  My oldest attended public school recently for one semester enrolement and teacher said he was "kind" and also my child WANTED me to come to his school.

Transgender behaviours vs. christian behaviours

So an amish woman leads a bunch of horses around and lifts a heavy load of bales onto a heavy wagon, After that she gives birth to one new born boy and two hours later she is working in her garden.  Clearly she is doing a 'mans job' and behaving as if her 'feminine nature' is non existant.

Another case happens to be a man walks into a little girls restroom at an elementary school.  Community is in an uproar, and screaming for him to stay away from young girls.  News media is profiting off of more news articles.

The amish woman is considered praiseworthy 'christian', while the man who visits a little girls room is a sex predator, a pedophile, yet the holy bible itself says things about a 'nursing father'  What is the proper response?

1. Men and women are not entitled to other people's nakedness. Lev 18, psalm 81:12, and Matt 5:28

2. Brotherly and Sisterly love is christian.  Book of Ruth, Mary and Martha, David and Johnathan, holy kiss: 2 Corinthians 13:12

3. Men can behave as a 'nursing mother' and be a 'nursing father'  Yes, men have been known through psychological enticement to nurse babies.  Numbers 11:12, Is 49:23

4. A man who is effeminate is not saved.  A man who is  a fornicator is not saved.  1 cor 6:9

5. Women have and can do things that men do, but fornicators and whoredoms are not efficient or effective.   Judges 4-5, 2 Kings 9:22

6. Christ does not condemn the woman caught in adultery.  John 8, Proverbs 6:32

7. Sodomy or same-sex sexual relationships are ungodly and wickedness.  1 Kings 15:22

8. Men and women should not switch their clothing attire.  Cultures may differ on this issue, but there will still be ancient distinctions between the two.  Example: Native american men and women wear braids, but women clearly cannot grow a beard.  Deuteronomy 22:5

In conclusion.  Beware of putting 'the flesh' on a pedastal.  The flesh is not love.  Holy Spirit is not carnality.  
ROMANS 8:6  Memorize this verse, and let it be a reminder of our frailty before our creator.

Hair Conditioning Natural Recipe

Lavender-Rosemary Leave-In Hair Conditioner

Recipe:
1/4 cup olive oil - More if hair is long and thick.  1/4 cup covers about mid-back length hair.
1 teaspoon rosemary leaves
5 drops rosemary essential oil
5 drops lavender essential oil

Directions:
1. cook olive oil in small pan until warmed but not too hot on the stove.
2. Add rosemary leaves, and essential oils.   Stir.
3. Pour into a hair coloring bottle or plastic container used to pour on to hair.
4. Lather into hair section by section.  Cover entire hair
5. Twist hair onto top of head.
6. Cover head with plastic bag and tie to keep moisture in hair.
7. Warm a towel in microwave (with hot water glass) or in dryer.  Wrap head with warm towel.
8. Sit for 30-40 minutes.  Wash lightly with shampoo.  Rinse with cool water.

Coordination with the Qumran calendar: Partial information

This is a simplified method of how to calculate what qumran calendar rotation number a person should use if they would like to calculate.  Currently the Qumran calendar rotation is 173 in the gregorian calendar date 2016.  The qumran calendar is set to begin year 0 when christ was on the cross in the year 31 gregorian calendar time.  So the calendar rotation number was '1' in the year 31.  These calculations are from www.thecreatorscalendar.com

That was 1985 years ago since christ was on the cross.  A thousand years are as 'one day' in God's eyes.   

How many days ago was christ on the cross?  Well we can also ask how many 'moons' ago was christ on the cross.

1461 days every four years.

metonic cycle consists of 19 years with 235 lunar phases.  235 lunar phases equals a moon will go through phases every 29.5306 days. so that there are 6939.69 total days in a metetonic cycle.  sorry its a bit off.    with only 29.5 being used, the calculation is several days off.  6932.5 days.  this DOES show up as miscalculations.

lets multiply four years cycle into the metonic cycle.  this will give us numbers of days to coordinate with.

Every 76 years there will be 27,759 days by leap year inclusions.  27,758.76 days by metetonic calculations.  So only a part of a day off.  not bad.

 In the qumran calendar there are 3.86842, 76 year rotations.  So what rotation would we use if we want our current moon cycle to match AD 31 putting Christ on the cross?  He would have to have been on the cross in cycle ONE to have an eclipse and make scripture accurate.

every year in qumran calendar that is not leap year has 354 days.  Every seven years is a leap year where seven days are added to the beginning of the year.  361 days in leap years.  So there is 2124 total days every six years that are not leap years.  Every 'twenty eight' years the gregorian calendar has the same number of days as the qumran calendar.  10,227 days in a 'twenty eight' year rotation.

take total number of days of metetonic cycle days.   divide by the number of twentyeight year cycle days.

  total is 70.57   so that would be there are 70.57 twenty eight year rotations.

that is 28*70.57 equals 1976.  remember how originally the number of years between 0031 and 2016 is 1985..... well because of metetonic calculations and the use of days.....the numbers change.

.75 years into the qumran calendar current rotation.  that gives us 294*.75 equals 220.5.....

ummm never mind 48 years off from original calculations.

additional .7517.  one could go ahead with assuming 220.5   but really that doesn't coordinate with the moon.

That is three two calendric double cycles repeated themselves..... plus .37585 additional somethings to determine calendar cycle year....

10227*588 equals number of days in two calendric signs cycles. 6,013,476

.7517 is number of days into a calendric cycle.

3,006,738 is total number of days in calendric cycle.

2,260,164/ 10227 equals 221.....

588 years means there are twenty one, 'twenty eight' year cycles.   so there is a total of 10227 days in 28 years.

10227*21 is the total number of days in two calendric cycles.  21*10227 equal's 

214, 767 days.

.37585*214767 equals total number of days into the celendric sign.

8068.372 is total number of days into the calendric signs

8068.372/10227 equals .7889  multiplied by 28 equals about 23      add 150 equals 173

ummm ok in summary....

calculate 'days'

multiply and divide.....untill what you do is add 150....for some reason...... ok...

ok the easiest way is just to first calculate the number of years between this year or current year desired and the year 31 ad when christ was on the cross as that would be year 1.

Every 532 years the metetonic cycle repeats enough times within the 'twenty eight year' repetition pattern of leap years, that the number of days can be translated.....easily.

route one: (number of years between)/ 294(this is number yrs in calendric sign) = whole number(wncs) . decimal value.

wncs *294 (number yrs in calendric sign) =total yrs covered (tyc)

This year 2015-31= 1985

1985 / 294 = 6.???
6*294= 1764

1985-1764 = 221



One can calculate by metetonic cycles too..... use the division of 532 and go from there.  then incorporate the remaining years by lunar cycles.


or put it this way..... 3791 would be the equivalent year that christ was on the cross in hebrew calendar.


 subtract and calculate from there.  Though beware......early dates may be inaccurate.

Things to talk about when giving your children 'the talk' about human sexuality....

This is a topic that can go on forever and ever.  In college, there are entire four credit classes dedicated to study this topic, particularly for future healthcare workers.

Goals:
Teach children that sexuality needs to be safe.
Teach children that sexuality is good and healthy as designed by God.
Teach children that when we break God's laws, we hurt someone else and our future.  Dishonesty is harmful.
Teach children that self-control is key to happy healthy sexuality.  Including the ability to not 'lust' after pornographic images and webpages.
Teach children that we should not touch a person whom we are not betrothed to or married to in a 'special way'
Teach children that we should use and read the bible daily to help us love our first spouse.

These topics of conversation can start at age eight and go on until the child has reached marriage.  Before age eigĥt, teach general safety and where adults or other should not touch.
