The bible is NOT a "lenient" book on many different matters. It is this way to protect vulnerable people.
Biblical terminology for MALE and FEMALE are very clear. Not because women should be exploited in any way shape or form, but to protect both males and females from their individual selfish desires.
The bible is very clear. JESUS was CONCEIVED as a MALE in the womb of a FEMALE. Anyone who says they are a Christian and cannot say it as it is, is clearly not level headed enough to handle matters of human "engineering" and "social conditions." Family and community matters alike.
Later on in the scripture, Jesus says to "gather the children as a hen gathers the chicks"..... so he KNEW long ago that leniency leads to problems.
Often prostitution and sex-trafficking rings are VERY lenient in their terminology. Males and Females can change gender.......in order to get their victims.
Note: I have, as a full grown adult sat across from an adult MALE immigrant from Morocco. I could tell from his appearance and behaviour that he had a middle-eastern nature to him. This event involved discussing how to become a teacher in a school and one of the topics we needed to discuss happened to be the laws about how to "talk" "handle" and "deal" with children especially in a sexually related way. The boundary lines are clearly in the LAWS of the land (particularly the laws of our state) so as to protect children from these types of things. Even though the laws are there (and we know that 14 year old boys can look and act like 27 year old men from time to time), a sensible person knows that LAW-BREAKERS exist.
Here is an example from this video:
Yes, there are religious laws on not committing acts of "incest" or "rapes" etc etc. but JESUS in his own way explained that leniency results in bad-situations for children. Children that feel secure in the care of his or her family and/or in the care of a FAITH GROUP fellowship are less likely to be thrown to the "wolves"......
