Is that a "good" seminary to attend? What are the things to consider?

From the moment of conception.  Humans are created as "sinners."  Does this mean we as humanity are doomed?

No.

Thankfully JESUS was conceived as a MALE in the womb of a FEMALE (woman).  The story continues.

Joseph (male) who knew God's laws (Leviticus things etc) was led by the Holy Spirit as well and continued to ensure Jesus was SAFE (from predatory people) from the time he lived in Bethlehem, to Egypt for a while and then back to Nazareth (small towns have their "creeps" too).

Anyway.

What types of things should a person use to determine if the seminary they would like to attend is a good choice?

1. Do they encourage further knowledge and education?  (an Eighth grade education will get a person to fully understand the bible.....but fully grasping each fact and figure may require more than that)

2. Do they consider a conservative vocabulary structure, based fully off of the bible and how it defines various things?  How are "males" defined by the bible?  How are "females" defined by the bible?  How is an animal supposed to be treated?  How do they want you to treat people who are affected by these vocabulary alterations? (This affects matters of sexuality and behavior)

3. Do they consider culture differences outside of the bible lands?  Do they consider culture differences inside of bible lands?  (Like the book of Esther explains different things about events in the bible and various people participated in the events from different lands.....humanity is "indigenous" to somewhere based on DNA and otherwise....)

4. Do they consider the JEWS and things they have suffered?  Do they consider the JEWS and the things they have made in error (King Herrod wasn't so kind)?  Do they consider that JEWS can be saved and redeemed from their sin too (Saul changed to Paul)?  Do they consider that people who don't know they are JEWISH can be saved from their sin (Arab terrorists???)?

5. Do they exalt women beyond what the bible allows or illustrates?  Do they betray women beyond what the bible allows or illustrates?

6. Idolatry and culture issues?  Do you agree with their theology based off of various traditions?  Do you believe that Constantine presented a false distorted gospel?  If you don't agree with their theology, why would you attend their seminary......

7. How does the particular seminary handle matters of pastors and leaders caught in "sin"?  Do they review these issues regularly to ensure these things don't happen?  How do they handle issues of "false accusation"? (Various professions that work with vulnerable adults NEED to have these things in place to protect the innocent from being exploited)

8. How do they believe in dealing with people who do not practice Christian faith?  Are they non-resistant?  Are they passive?  Are they aggressive in evangelizing?  Do they want to see all people free from bondage to sin?

9. Do they concern themselves with further meditation on the bible?  Do they want the people who practice their faith to meditate on the bible?

10. Do they consider statements like "If JESUS WAS ABORTED, WE WOULDN'T HAVE THIS MESS" to be a good or bad statement?  Do they cater for or against people's political correct ideologies?  Do they want pastors to be politically correct in their sermons or do they want people to be RIGHT about the JUDGMENTS and ways of "biblical things"?

11. Of course there are other things to consider......like topics of evolution theory vs. Noah, issues presented in the book of Galatians and in Hebrews, historical "dates" when JESUS was possibly born, issues regarding the treatment of singles in a church group and so on.

So in essence, just because it is a seminary, does NOT mean that it is a GOOD place for a Christian to learn how to be a preacher! and also, just because a man didn't go to seminary/bible college, doesn't mean that he can't be a preacher!  and finally, just because a man went to a "twisted seminary" doesn't mean he can't preach a good conservative sermon and lead people out of their sin (example www.ttb.org)

Yes!

In fact, some men can learn "independently"......practice fishing and saying sermons from a boat!

In reality, a man who has taught in a school, can just as easily "self-teach" himself to lead a group of people in a church body.

This is what is truly essential:

2Ti_2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
