Breakfast Cereal

Breakfast Cereal

1 Cup rolled oats
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup Brown rice
1 cup Barley
1 cup split peas or lentils
1 cup dandielion fluff or cattail pulp or cattail flour

You may double this recipe to as large as you would like.

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until grains are powdery.

Porridge is made by adding 1 cup warm filtered water plus 2 T whey, kefir, yogurt or buttermilk. Add enough grain to allow grain to soak. Let the combination sit for 7 to 24 hours at room temperature.

Boil 1 cup of water with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add soaked cereal to hot water. Cover and simer several minutes. Remove from heat and add 1-2 egg yolks.

Allow to cool and serve with Butter and sweetner maple syrup, honey etc.
