In fact, it gives a FALSE TESTIMONY about men. GODLY MEN. Basic men who are in the early stages of life (like Jeremiah was used at a young age).
The bible clearly says Obey/Submit to your husband IN THE LORD. That means that you (as a woman) can doooodle around a little bit and not listen to a man if he is "off track" on something and you are "wiser" or more "knowledgeable" about something.
Furthermore, from my understanding of marriage as a license is that it is simply a piece of paper. But for a TRUE MARRIAGE COVENANT to exist there NEEDS to be an aspect of love in there too. LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF types of conditions........perhaps even love for extended family as well.
Here is a link, warning others to stay away from ministries that "blame" women for every problem in men and "promise" a good life under brutal toxic forms of patriarchy. (I don't agree with everything on this particular website because it doesn't point that women can become abusive too). I do agree that domestic violence is a false-testimony as I have heard of women who are completely mutilated and treated like "trash" in countries like Hondourus....which is NOT an aspect of LOVE from the redeemer.
Anyhow, for the women who purposefully WANT men to remain in their abuse generating state.....congratulations, you are NOT allowing the HOLY SPIRIT to be a guide and the future men are growing up seeing this type of thing......which is NOT GOOD. All these woman (and sometimes men) want is -Attention-!
All in all, a TRUE conservative BIBLICALLY BASED woman would NOT want men to remain in the state of being a "brute" but wants man to turn ENTIRELY from SIN..... (do we need to review how brutal the men were in the Holocaust....yet again!!!)
If a person wants to get a "clue" as to how men and women should behave....try God's laws and questions surrounding the behavior aspects.... Once a person FEELS LOVE from that resource......nothing else on this earth will ever matter again!
"an astounding lapse of judgment....someone with my experience"....at1:40
"an astounding lapse of judgment....someone with my experience"....at1:40
This is what matters....
