Why do I follow "Charlie Puth" and certain "stars"....

Are Christians only suppopsed to pay attention to "only Christians" whom they know and believe are Christians???

The bible says......no.

Luk_6:27  But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

Luk_6:32  For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

Luk_16:13  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Luk_20:46  Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

Joh_13:35  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Joh_15:19  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

**Mat_5:47  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

1. He is interesting.

2. He has a "supernatural" unusual musical gift.

3. He doesn't seem like a "puffed up" sort of singer.

4. He has middle east/Jewish heritage (his song "Titanium" seems to really reveal this aspect perhaps)

5. He will speak with people who are "sinners"....like he went on Ellen Degenerous show, but doesn't seem excessively cater to that sort of life-style or regretting what caused him to become famous.

6. Some of the songs reflect real life things that happen in relationships..... unfortunately love/hate issues happen.  So they are great example songs for different issues of life.

7. I like "love songs" sometimes.  Seems to build up my relationship with my spouse!  Just doing that can prevent a lot of unnecessary relationship breakups for sure!

8. If Christians would "sing" to each other like his "love songs"..... there would probably be LESS denomination and church group break up over the "little things"....but of course a man and woman needs to be TRUELY REDEEMED....not just "hear say" and what a "pastor says".....

9. To be honest I do NOT believe the "love" only comes from a man and woman under a wedding vow.  I believe it comes from REDEMPTION....... this means that it requires love for ALL man-kind in a biblical way.  So if a "little" swinging (or good thoughts of others' qualities) occurs.....this is NOT a deceptive sort of love.....but if a lot occurs with dishonesty, there is a problem with that. (read the book of Leviticus to get the right angle)

Of course I don't follow EVERYTHING that he does (like drinking or worldly girlfriends) or FAVOR some of the "bad stuff" that goes on in Hollywood and other places.  But the fact that he is at least doing his best, makes him an interesting singer.  Furthermore, constantly paying attention to the various "scribes" and "pharisees"........(consistent religious chatter) makes a person blind to reality of what the gospel means for humanity.

Truly I would LOVE to know that Charlie Puth became a fully saved man who LOVES JESUS (yeshua in Hebrew).....He already has great characteristics.

He is a pretty good singer too:

I do admire some apologists or famous "bible people".  But I am pretty picky about it.
