Exegesis Matters.......

Now when a person would like to consider  resource for their faith, the exegesis matters.  It doesn't just matter a "little,"  it matters A LOT!  It could affect your home-life.  It could effect how you deal with your in-laws.  It could affect how you deal with people of different nationality.  It could affect the way you deal with your biological family.  It could even affect how you deal with people whom you love that are "sinners" or some who don't know they are "sinners."

The reason there may be so many different interpretations of Christianity and the way to live the Christian life is not just because of Constantine.  Yes, there were issues with his ability to interpret scripture.  The reason is because people do in fact come from different view points of how to interpret the scripture in order to make it fit into their life!  Are they trying to fit God into their life in THIER way, or are they trying to fit their life into God, in GOD's WAY?

In general we should pay attention to this verse: "James 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors."

So any ministry or resource to help understand the scripture, if there is a MAJOR issue with respecter of persons, then there is GOING to BE a problem!

Yes, there will be issues.  The first five books of the bible are foundation to the faith of Christianity.  God set the Israelites free for ALL obedient persons of Israel, not just a few select people.

When an interpretation trys to "mock" the creator, meaning they don't want to acknowledge that the stars in the sky have different sparkle, tone, size, shape and so forth, then the interpretation is a risky interpretation at best.  Human "machines" are built in the same way.

Essentially, instead of listening to the people who interpret the bible and say that David had the "adultery problem" because his wives just couldn't fulfill his needs and his wives just didn't look beautiful enough.......why don't you just follow through and let scripture speak for itself.  The truth about what went "wrong" is written right in Psalm 51.

If anyone says the that the indigenous people of the world are "nasty heathens" because the bible tells me so, pick up your bags and leave not tomorrow......but today.
