(21) Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
(22) Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
People have to deal with trials and trauma in this life. Some people are "brainwashed" by the world system and believe it is the uplifting element of human life. There are people who are "Christian" but have yet to acknowledge the minor and small wounds that prioritizing an "oil pipeline" for money is more valuable than the people who live on a piece of land. They still have not granted themselves the ability to see value in other people, even different belief systems or ways of looking at things. Further, there are things that some Christians overlook about "Jesus" and his beginnings that prove that he is the Son of God, even though he was conceived and born through sin-full people. "Matt 1: 6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;" Jesus' ancestor's had issues in their relationships.
As a whole, yes, the bible has "far-right" wording. The man who is having trouble with sinning by using his "eyes" is told to "pluck his eye out." Not to say that a man should LITERALLY do this, but to illustrate a point about how to stop sinning, will use far-right words and sometimes behaviors.
Further investigation in the history of Christian belief will reveal famous men (even Martin Luther) who supported Polygyny. Research further and one will find "institutionalized" religious forces that forced pagan believers of Rome into various Roman-Catholic style monk systems rather than practicing what their ancestors practiced, polygyny. Look deeper into things and one will find actual Christians who practiced polygny......even the Anabaptists. However, it is true that it is OK to be single as a Christian man, it is OK to have only one wife as a Christian man. It is just that there is MORE than what the history and institutional things will tell you. Marriage in and of itself has NEVER been "redefined" by biblical means of definition. The parable of the 10 virgins is just that......the parable that reveals the truth about what is marriage and what is not marriage according to the heavenly father. "BE READY"
What about persecution by those who "hate" God's laws. Meaning they love to twist the scripture and support man-man marriage. Well, should we support them by being more "libertarian" in our views or confront their sin? Or what about those with a religion that supports terrorism. Do we remain silent or speak up in defense of the innocent? You know what..... Ecclesiastes 3 tells us what to do. There is a season to speak and a season not to speak. If you as a "libertarian" actually support the sexual impurity, you are actually sending your brother to "hell" if you will. When you are able to confront his actions in a loving tone, you can win your brother to Christ. Protect the innocent, the poor, the widow is ALWAYS a value in Christian living.
Further investigation in the lives of humanity will reveal "good qualities" in people and "bad qualities" in people. There is a Jacob and Esau wrestling match in the womb. Jacob did not hold a grudge against his brother, even though his brother had the problem of "hate." So just being a good man doesn't come by force, it comes by godly definition and action. Who knows, maybe that man that hates your "guts" actually knows something about a super natural remedy that takes away pain after a cancer treatment. Sometimes the "Esau's" of this world DO repent of the hatred in their heart! This condition affects Jews and Gentiles alike.......people who showed no compassion for God, can change their ways. People who once appeared to "love God" could be completely turned aside to lies at any moment in their life (visit a nursing home and wisdom will appear). Luke 18. The battle for a disciplined life that is right before the eyes of God, starts with confession!
