Copy and Paste from Cafe-mom. Question asked: Do anti-biblical people also possess anti-semitism traits?

This is long.  The names were not removed from this Study.  But definitely one can sense some infestations of insulting as "greatest joy" among some commenters.......

Many Christian nations and leaders turned a blind eye to the atrocities in Germany prior to world war II.  It was only after those nations were directly attacked that they engaged.

According to Professor Willilam Nichols, a former minister of the Anglican Church and the founder of Religious studies at the Unversity of British Columbia, Christian teaching is primarily responsible for antisemitism.

I don't know what you're ranting about.

There are many people who don't believe in the Bible but are not anti-semitic.  Why do you think people who don't believe in the Bible are "haters"?

You realize that messianic Judaism is a denomination of Christianity and not a branch of Judaism, right?

Not believing in the bible doesn't mean one is anti-Christian or antisemitic. Not believing in G-d doesn't make you anti-Christian or antisemitic. Believing Jesus is god or the son of G-d does not make you antisemitic. Being hateful towards Jews makes you antisemitic. Being hateful towards Christians makes you anti-Christian. Being hateful towards Muslims makes you Islamophobic. Being hateful towards non-believers makes you a bigot. Etc.

Your survey makes no sense. Which is typical.

Believe it or not, every single day, all around the world, people demonstrate love despite religion. How did you come to the conclusion that those who don't believe in the Christian bible are anti-semetic?

If a person visits israel..... there will be tons of down syndrome children.   most jewish people don't believe in terminating their own children.....their own future and possibly their only hope.

so it is true.  anti biblical people are also anti semetic since þey are anti down syndrome raising types....haters of the disabled basically.

There is a jump in logic there.  Why do you believe that people who don't believe in the Bible are anti-down-syndrome?  Where do you get the information that atheists or agnostics are anti-down-syndrome?

And then there is a leap in logic where someone who is anti-downsyndrome is anti-semetic.  Just because there are children with downsyndrome being raised in the Jewish faith doesn't mean that someone who is anti-downs would be anti-all Jewish people of faith.

I tend to find the opposite to be true. It is socially expected of secular liberals to be respectful and tolerant of Jews and Muslims (or any minority) however, this does not apply to Christians. There are a few consistent ones who hate them all, like bill maher.

Unless you consider the anti-Israel pro Palestine people antisemetic? That I can see.

Probably because the hatred stems from fear. People who hate Muslims do so because they are afraid that the Arab person sitting 4 rows in front of them has a bomb strapped to their chest and are going to take the whole plane/bus/taxi/building down with them. People who are homophobic are afraid that they will "catch the gay" or that it is somehow contagious. They're going to catch AIDS if they sit next to one. They're transphobic because they're afraid that the cute guy/girl they were flirting with might actually be a girl/guy and if they're attracted to them it means they themselves are gay.

I don't think that this is a true statistic. I don't think that there are a ton of people with downs syndrome in Israel.

Observant Jews restrict abortion to the health or life of the mother, but then it is mandatory to have the abortion

More importantly, abortion is perfectly legal in Israel for birth defects, unmarried women, minors, advanced maternal age, rape, & incest. When it isn't legal you can still get a private abortion illegally. A private physician hasn't ever been prosecuted for illegal abortions in Israel.

Most importantly, you don't know jack about Judaism, my religion or my culture.

Therefore, you are full of shit.

ETA: Israel often financially subsidizes legal abortions!

I can't claim to know what other atheists believe. As for myself, I hate Christianity...but I don't hate Christians. Same for other religions. In fact, I often find myself arguing in favor of religious rights. So long as their rights don't trample mine or others.

So basically anti-biblical people do have some form of anti-semetism.   They don't awknowledge that Paul was Jewish and did participate in Sabbath day activities.   Acts 18:4

(4)  And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

Also notice that the verse says EVERY Sabbath.

Then there was Constantine.  If people don't know his moral condition...... He was very supersticious...... and he attempted changing biblical laws.....etc etc.  If he was a 'Christian' then how can a christian be a christian if they murder their own family members?

Hatred comes from inside your inability to recognize you are an unjust person from the beginning.  I have cousins who look like the 'boston bomber'........ they cleverly hate the muslim religion but put up with it.   perhaps you can't remember anything about the armenian genocide??????   That explains your foolish talk and anti-christ behaviours.

Quoting D-Town:
Probably because the hatred stems from fear. People who hate Muslims do so because they are afraid that the Arab person sitting 4 rows in front of them has a bomb strapped to their chest and are going to take the whole plane/bus/taxi/building down with them. People who are homophobic are afraid that they will "catch the gay" or that it is somehow contagious. They're going to catch AIDS if they sit next to one. They're transphobic because they're afraid that the cute guy/girl they were flirting with might actually be a girl/guy and if they're attracted to them it means they themselves are gay.

Quoting Kwitcherbetchen: Why wouldn't it be anti-islamic? A phobia is a fear. just because a person does not like islamic people does not mean they fear them.
Quoting Bookwormy: You realize that messianic Judaism is a denomination of Christianity and not a branch of Judaism, right? Not believing in the bible doesn't mean one is anti-Christian or antisemitic. Not believing in G-d doesn't make you anti-Christian or antisemitic. Believing Jesus is god or the son of G-d does not make you antisemitic. Being hateful towards Jews makes you antisemitic. Being hateful towards Christians makes you anti-Christian. Being hateful towards Muslims makes you Islamophobic. Being hateful towards non-believers makes you a bigot. Etc. Your survey makes no sense. Which is typical.

Religions change over time. Christianity today isn't like it was during Constantine's time. The Bible condones the selling of rape victims, owning slaves, honor killings, etc. And it was all perfectly legal and Biblically justified. So one could argue that he was a "true" Christian (at least in his time), for his actions. So long as he did it in the name of God.

Quoting Raggedylaura:

You mean to say.... Native Amricans deserve to be treated like crap because they are not white and were not refugees?   They may or may not vote for yopur prolife and uour prochoice bad character president.   Their midwives didn't know squat.....as women gave birth unassisted quite frequently.....or with a minimally trained midwife.    No paperwork neccesary to understand what black cohash does.   There fore if you can't treat native american women right you definitely can't treat jewish people right.

Quoting Bookwormy: I don't think that this is a true statistic. I don't think that there are a ton of people with downs syndrome in Israel. Observant Jews restrict abortion to the health or life of the mother, but then it is mandatory to have the abortion More importantly, abortion is perfectly legal in Israel for birth defects, unmarried women, minors, advanced maternal age, rape, & incest.
Quoting Raggedylaura:
If a person visits israel..... there will be tons of down syndrome children.   most jewish people don't believe in terminating their own children.....their own future and possibly their only hope.

What?

Where does Bookwormy say anything at all about Native Americans?  I can't even see where she has said anything that could even lead you to believe the things you are attributing to her!

And I believe that Bookwormy is Jewish....I could be wrong, but I'm almost certain.  So she can't treat herself right?

I treat American Indian women & Jewish women just fine, lol.

Do you know that I am Jewish and quite active in the local Jewish community? There are no concerns of antisemitism in the Jewish community concerning me!

You associate unrelated topics. I get that they are related to you, but they are beyond tangential to the rest of us. I authentically hope you get help, but do not offer my services anonymously online. Therefore, unless you make sense in the future I will refrain from responding to you or your threads. I bid you good day.

Stilll people don't get their concept of good vs. evil

This is slightly reworded from a quote someone else said.   'Good people do good things and evil people do evil things.  When good people do evil things, they are religious.'

So, essentially if a personclaims they are 'good' but they insult christians or biblical things.   THEY ARE DOING EVIL....hence they are RELIGIOUS......hence they are ANTI-SEMETIC.

Even the letters we use to write have elements of semetic origin.   Aleph, beth gimel daleph....... even those who have no wisdom can discern the term 'beth -le- ham' means house where God dwelt.   Those who deny truths from bethleham and support abortion nature filth are simply religious fools.....filled with evil intheir hearts and minds.

Palestinians are Semetic.

Quoting WaterorWine: I tend to find the opposite to be true. It is socially expected of secular liberals to be respectful and tolerant of Jews and Muslims (or any minority) however, this does not apply to Christians. There are a few consistent ones who hate them all, like bill maher.

Unless you consider the anti-Israel pro Palestine people antisemetic? That I can see.

native american knew that problem before refugee arriaval for more 'religious freedom'

hence here is latest fiancial group that supports Jewish people of the 'rejected' nature.

www.mjaa.org..... secularists deny that even plato aristotle and socrates did in fact quote psalms and proverbs........so their validation always gets skewed by selfishness lingo jingo.

I still don't understand the connection you are trying to make here. "Anti-biblical" people don't put any value on the stories of Paul. The bible literally has zero impact in the life of one who does not subscribe to the tenets of Christianity, so what does it matter that Paul was Jewish?

“You’re on the Island of Conclusions.”
“But how did we get here?” asked Milo.
“You jumped, of course,” explained Canby. “That’s the way most everyone gets here. It’s really quite simple: every time you decide something without having a good reason, you jump to Conclusions whether you like it or not. It’s such an easy trip to make that I’ve been here hundreds of times.”
“But this is such an unpleasant looking place,” Milo remarked.
“Yes, that’s true,” admitted Canby; “it does look much better from a distance.”

I think you are once again incorrect.  People that do not believe in a God do not necessarily disbelieve that the people within the Bible did not exist; and if they existed they were more than likely Jewish since that was the religion of the time and area in question.

Many Christians commit atrocious acts of violence against their families and others almost daily.  The prerequisite for considering one's self Christian is simply to be believe that Jesus was the son of God and to believe in his teachings.

I don't think you know many people outside of your closed circle.  Your posts read as someone who truly has lived a very narrow existence.

I am familiar with the Armenian genocide. It was one of those lessons Hitler based his own gender code upon. That and the genocide of native Americans that we did.

I think you may have forgotten the attempted genocide of the Jews instituted by the church on multiple occasions. First during the rise to power in Roman times and the massive one during the time of the Black Death. Apparently it isn't just non Christians who are capable of genocide. (Of course the church also is the only organization to actually succeed in wiping out entire religions so far so your drug induced theory is already blown out of the water)

That doesn't take into consideration the crusades including the current crusade we are fighting. The eradication of women. The eradication of Latino and Polynesian cultures.
