In general, these practices are NEUTRAL and may be practiced by people who are not of these faiths, but CHRISTIANITY HAS these influences whether people realize it or not.
1. Modesty for women (excluding extreme modesty which forbids seeing the eyes). Headscarf wearing.
2. Practicing polygyny (excluding forced marriages and divorcing after achieving 4 wives). Yes, even Christians (BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS) have historically practiced polygyny.
3. Separation of men and women (excluding cases where women are forbidden when they are more or equally qualified)
4. Women as homemaker. Women getting married before becoming too independent. Encouraging arranged or protected marriage. (Eastern cultures are more likely to encourage a protected or arranged marriage. Western cultures don't promote this practice so much)
5. Dietary laws. (Not that a person in Christianity should ever eat food offered to idols, but to consider that dietary things can have an influence on faith)
6. Fasting
7. Regular prayer.
8. Forbidding abortion. Encouraging child-bearing.
9. Not fearing the "arab" or "middle eastern man"
10. Not being afraid of children born in incest (excluding the practicing of incest marriages)
11. Community coordination, economic efforts to establish this condition
12. Regular practice of giving to others......
13. Recognizing the "error" of putting trust in the "Gregorian calendar" system. The "religious calendar" of the Holy Bible is not the Gregorian Calendar, but a sort of lunar-solar-stellualar calendar.
14. Choosing to obey a set of laws. (excluding the sharia laws that encourage evil things like hatred or terror) "God's Laws" from the Old Testament should be a version of Christianity, but many Christians don't even STUDY his laws and see what they should be doing. Jesus did NOT come to abolish the law and "the law" is good if used properly.
15. Wanting to not assimilate into "crooked practices" of a culture. Muslims have been good at not encouraging daughters to "wear bikinis" when they are asked to encourage their children to participate in something deemed Western.
16. Not being afraid of people who practice "cousin marriage" or their children. Yes, cousin marriage is practiced in Christian history among MANY famous people, including Einstein! It wasn't until about 1900, where people started to notice scientific evidence that genetic defects were more likely in cousin marriages. There is NOTHING WRONG with having a certain sort of BROTHERLY or SISTERLY LOVE for your cousin's by the way, as they could be your only hope if something goes wrong in life. You don't have to share the exact same faith to have a sort of love for others.
******
For obvious reasons, this is not a post that "favors" the Muslim religious system over Christian redemption (by repenting and being born again). It is showing how much Christianity has actually STRAYED from its original purpose and intention. For some, this is not the case, but for certain individuals that are interested in seeing God's kingdom come to earth, they should consider these issues.
There are very apparent things that Muslim practices lead to, that are wicked and cruel and vices against humanity. There have been Christian people who claimed Christ but did wicked and cruel things too, that Jesus NEVER wanted his followers to practice. All in all, any religious group that practiced/s these things is clearly not redeemed.
1. Fornication
2. Alcohol abuse, swindling, theft, forced marriages....
3. Spouse abuse. Domestic violence. Control of other family member's religious beliefs.
4. Terror or torture of another person
5. Rape Gang, not having proper reporting for women who are raped or abused.
6. Forced indoctrinations
7. Racism
8. Pedophilia
9. Extreme discipline on people caught or practicing sexual impurity
10. Rejection of "brotherly love." Rejection of unconditional love.
11. Limited/ing free-speech
12. Limited assistance for women who are having child-bearing problems
13. Crusading or forcing religious system on others
14. Limited woman's rights when women and children are not getting basic needs met.
15. Wishful thinking that people of poor character are pleasing to the Creator and redeemer (pride-filled, backstabbers, backsliders, foolish, clamorous etc)
All in all....there NEEDS to be a REDEMPTION....so the PEOPLE can adore the REDEEMER....
