1Th_4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
Rom_12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
We all have "sin things" in our heart. We are born with that condition. It is unfortunate, but it is true. Sin-things show up in our life in the form of anger and control over others in areas where we really shouldn't need to worry about. However, JESUS did show us what BROTHERLY and SISTERLY love looks like.
Joh_11:5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. (This verse is an example of such love). It is NOT promoting lawlessness, but rather promoting the condition of love for brothers and sisters in Christ.
Promoting "sexual impurity" types of love will not eliminate hatred in people's hearts and minds. No, because the "sexuality" thing is fleeting. Sometimes the songs they sing are "cute" but they do not transform the heart. Sometimes failing. But his love is everlasting. From one generation to another.
Brotherly and sisterly love may have physical elements in it like a kind way to serve others, or a way to feed those in need, or a way to restore order in one's own home (brothers enjoying each other's company by playing games and doing things together etc). Brotherly love doesn't seek selfish gain...........Brotherly love doesn't mock, scorn or divide. Brotherly love doesn't worry about social status, labels or conditions (from the past, in the present hour and in the future). Brotherly love is NOT effeminate and avoiding of the duties of men. Brotherly love is humble. Brotherly love may contain elements of being silly from time to time.
So think about what types of LOVE are good for eliminating hatred in our world. How do you get access to this love? Bible study. Doing things for others in a better way. Explaining when you feel pain in your heart to others so they understand.
As you can see, brotherly love is a true kind of love. Sometimes a person may sense this brotherly type of love if someone they love (not in a marriage) suffers, or even dies.
Brotherly love would be on the top of the list. Sisterly love would be included.
