Should Christians engage in various "stunts" for "show"???

Pro_29:18  Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
(Pro 11:7)

Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
(Pro 11:4)

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
(Pro 11:2)

Various stunts are available to the viewing eye on www.youtube.com and sometimes they show up on "facebook."  Now we know that we really do not know the final hour we have on this earth.  However, some stunts are ASKING for trouble.

When I see a man jumping off of the top of the roof of a building and into a 4 ft. pool, I know any person under untrained condition WILL die in such a situation.  Children are "seeing" these things and then they think that is "normal" behaviour, and it is not.  YES people HAVE died in these types of situtations.

"Mat_4:7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God."

Yes, there are some stunts that people pull that "seem" abnormal but are a regular part of life for some folks in some parts of the world.  Like living off of the grid and walking a long distance to get water and "cable connections."  Or chosing to avoid use of the doctor for various things. And other risky things.

Some missionaries purposefully put themselves into dangerous territory with dangerous people.

Other people flee when they know that they will have to deal with a dangerous territory (or social group for that matter).  (Jesus said to be prepared for BOTH conditions.  Jesus WAS born into and LIVE in both conditions.).
Essentially, I believe a sincere Christian will not "entertain" the fleshy stuff so much.  He will not try to purposefully defy the forces of gravitation and make himself look as if he is "god" and create possible damage to his own life.

There is nothing wrong with an "adventure" as this is good and healthy (like camping, fishing, scuba diving and so forth).  There is nothing wrong with trying to walk on a dangerous cliff AND the proper cables and rails are available for safety.  There IS something wrong when people try to purposefully do things in opposition to safety standards.
