Law and NT explanation: Forbidden Sexual Relations (for humanity protection and clean living)

(Christians may do these things in a "spiritual" sense and changing the approach to dealing with justice, but reality is that these laws are for the land of Israel and the times before Christ explained proper Justice and Mercy.)  CHRISTIAN DO meditate on these verses, OLD and NEW.  Gain better ground at the righteousness in Judgement of the Lord.

For protection of the young and protection of the disabled DO consider resources that EDUCATION children how to stay away and REPORT any unsafe situation.    


Forbidden Sexual Relations

  1. Not to indulge in familiarities with relatives, such as kissing, embracing, winking, skipping, which may lead to incest (Lev. 18:6) (CCN110).

(Lev 18:6)  None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.

(Lev 18:8)  The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

(Lev 18:17)  Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
(Lev 18:18)  Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.
(Lev 18:19)  Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
