Christian Liberty: Animal Care (3)

*Information in this article is not intended to replace proper wisdom as directed by people who are experienced in dealing with symptoms.  Any information given and used by the individual, if it was done in a way that did not work, may not be used against the writer. Christian Liberty : Christian Liberty Introduction

I know it seems strange to talk about animal care when it comes to "Christian Liberty" but if you CARE for the animals, as even God did when he told Noah to build that ark, then you will ALSO understand the power of the GOSPEL in the life of human flesh.  If a man cares not for animals, that man is not worthy of Gospel preaching!  Review: Part 1 and Part 2

A person must notice the various things about animals that are mentioned in the LAW.  Meaning the basic first five books of the bible.  Without the LAW, there is not Jesus!  Its like the LAW is the shell of the pea pod, and inside the pea-pod is the gospel message, those peas.  To eliminate the "LAW" and consider yourself Christian, is like taking all the parts of the LAW that mention the word "heart."  The word HEART is mentioned in the LAW (first five books of the bible) 92 times in KJV bible!  So if a person takes the LAW away (even the creation story and order of the astronomy based seven day week), they are attempting to stab JESUS in the heart 92 times!  DON'T do that or consider that as a Christian whether JEW or GENTILE believer!

Act_10:28  And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Act_28:23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

Notice in the two verses Paul is explaining that there are UNCLEAN people groups.  Meaning these people are possibly "eating" the wrong types of animal foods which create a body that is "unclean."  The foods mentioned in the law of Moses are there to help create a body that is clean and HOLY.  So some animal foods are unclean.  Paul is also explaining in Acts 28:23 the power of the gospel in the kingdom.  He uses the LAW to explain this, he does NOT ignore the law.  The law itself does contain "warnings" about wrong treatment of animals.  Those laws NEVER disappear so long as the GOSPEL is in the hearts of men.  Just like the peas and the pod, if there is no "pod" there is not a "pea,"  if there is no "Law" there is no "gospel."

When a person takes care of animals there are certain "ways" they must take care of those animals.  Chickens need a certain temperature to survive!  Dogs need a certain type of diet!  Sheep need a certain type of shepherd who WATCHES carefully for various threats and diseases.

Does a person need a lot of money to raise animals?  No.  In the time of sacrifice before JESUS because the sacrifice, the poor people brought pigeons as sacrifice.  Create a little "cage bird trap" out of willows and other things found in nature.  A "basket" can catch a bird with a little bait.

Same for today when it comes to raising and caring for animals and seeing the "spirit" of the animal.  A gold-fish can live in a recycled container.  A brood of chickens can be raised with four fence posts made out of old-lumber or recycled fence posts and over layed with wire.  A person may even use saplings, willow branches and woven together cat-tail to create a fence of some sort to simply raise some chickens.  In the LAW it is described that the ark was made of "gopher wood" so natural substances from nature can hold and create a way to capture animals.

Check out the "natural laws" of how to care for those animals.  Know the right temperature, the right diet, the right way to prevent predators, the right treatment in leading the animals around and other natural behaviors.  If a person raises horses and other larger farm animals, get as much advice as you can in order to keep your larger animal "happy" and "unstressed" or "frightened."

Training of animals doesn't take "money,"  but it does take time and energy, so make sure you are strong enough to do just that.  Indigenous people have loved the horse, even though they did not have the money.  A horse could sit outside the indigenous man's tee-pee and the horse would be happy and content with dwelling near the man.
