Direction to pray? Towards Jerusalem? Worship in Spirit and Truth?

Jewish people even today may pray towards Jerusalem.  The bible mentions Jerusalem A LOT!

I don't think they are wrong in a sense.  Modern day Christian "Zionists" who recognize that Jerusalem and the Jewish indigenous heritage, recognize the location of the giving of the Holy Spirit to be from Mt. Zion also recognize the importance of the direction one prays.  Christian Zionists may also recognize the power in praying in "tongues" or in praying towards animals, plants and other ill or injured people and things of this world.  So in essence, when one prays towards Jerusalem, pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem and recall the giving of the Holy Spirit.

However, as astronomy teaches us, there are changes in the movement in the stars from the position our planet is currently in to what the earth was in when the bible was written!  The movement of the stars appears to shift a little bit every 1000 years!

I believe a good rule is to consider the direction of the "lamb" (aires-ram) as there is indication that just praying towards the "east" will not get a person to face Jerusalem exactly.  Rather consider the coordinates of astronomy.  (remember that if the big-bang theory was truth....then there would be stars which were "created" since AD 31.....which there has never been a star that was birthed to create a "new" constellation shape, so that proves the big bang theory to be wrong.)

One man invented the "Jerusalem Compass" to over come this particular issue.

Study of the position of the Aires will give us a rule.  It is positioned about due-east from Jerusalem in the fall feasts before AD 31 when, if Jesus would have gone to the cross three years after he began his ministry in AD 27, then the position of the planet Jupiter would align with the constellation aires when Jesus was on the cross during a New Moon (to bring about a dark solar eclipse from the 6th hour to the 9th hour) in the spring of AD 31 (Stellarium points to the possibility of a miraculous solar eclipse)

Notice in the image above (positioned from Jerusalem) how the "eye" of Aires is directly DUE EAST from the position of Jerusalem when the moon was the first full-moon after the fall equinox and the full moon is below the Aires ;)  King planet (Jupiter -one scar in side) sits ready to be sacrificed as symbolic in the "spring feasts" in the next months.

In the second image is the position of the first full moon after fall-equinox in the year 2016 (the first full moon used in the calendar cycle 3).  The "eye" of Aires is STILL due east, but the moon is not positioned below the ram.  Notice the changes in the position of what describes "due east" in accordance to the timing of the phases of the moon and other things.  If a person WANTED to find the correct direction, perhaps they could find the position of the moon after the fall-equinox or find the position of the "eye" of aires.....but in reality this may not be as essential and would also depend upon which "time of the day" this particular measurement is taken.

Essentially, one could face east (or what ever direction towards Jerusalem), but consider the direction and the time when to calculate the "position" which recreates the "time" the Lamb rose from the grave.....

There is a reason that Jesus said to worship in spirit and in truth.....not so much in the directions one faces.  "John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."  Though it is good to consider the "direction" of the land in which Jesus lived, died and rose from the grave, it is MORE essential to know the TRUTH of his existence and that he lives in our hearts.
