Should children use "social media" or other private internet accounts?

The answer to this is actually found in the bible, of all places.  Social media, and private internet accounts are NOT just about "dating" and whom you find to marry.  It is NOT just about keeping up with peers.  It is about how the children should interact appropriately with this world.

1. Should children be expected to stand up and say the 10 commandments at a young age to a foreign man?

2. Would you want your children to talk with someone in a prison or came out of one?

3. Do you want your children to talk to people from a land that speaks Urdu?

4. Are you interested in keeping up with a foreign missionary who worked in the medical department in a refugee camp?

5. Do you want your children to see the positive inspirational posts from Aunt Mary who has cancer?

6. Are there some people of a different religious value that have some good things to say about how to gain more wisdom?

7.  Do you want your children to share bible stories with various people?

8. Do you want your children to explain how they studied ornithology and went through an astronomy lesson for the day?

9. Is there a social issue you are concerned about that you believe your children should know about?

10. Do you want your children to use nice words and language with others in this world?

(There are other -evils- out there besides just the sex-trafficking business)

1. Do you want your children to start meeting up with people who want spouses to divorce and remarry them in particular for a special "religious marriage" in a foreign land?

2. Do you want your children to see their friend's binge drinking?

3. Do you want your children to hear about your neighbor's "infidelity/LGBT marriage".....?

4. Do you want your children to be exposed to people with severe, false accusation -mental health issues- which cause them to curse and misuse God's word?

5. Do you want your children to be bullied/be a bully more easily and readily without respect of elders or peers?

6. Do you want your children to be "hooked" on such internet interactions without actually knowing how to sit down in a neighborly manner with a close and kind neighbor lady?

7. Do you want the children exposed to "things to buy" rather than "things to make"?

8. Do you want your children to interact with -lust driven- people (not always criminal behaving, just misguided), who talk -sweet talk- to your children and have no intention of actual long term relationship.  In some cases even exposing themselves to your child. (shh....don't tell your mother.....types of boyfriends and girlfriends).

9. Do you want your children to promote their own sin issues, if they don't really have control of their life?

10.  Do you want your children exposed to people who EXPECT you to like their rated-X movie and book choices?

PS.  Some internet accounts are FAKE accounts and want money.  They look good, godly and so forth but only the wise who are aware of good and evil in the heart (30 years old or greater) would be able to spot these issues......

The answer is in the bible to all of these questions.  Go through Matthew Chapter 5.  Whom and how do you want your children to interact with this world?  Be persecuted and/or be aware of those who are persecuted?  Be merciful and/or be aware of those who are merciful?  Be exposed to lust-driven people and/or be aware of what that is (allow your children to get exposed to rated-x materials)? Be exposed to people who hate and/or aware of what that is?  Ask questions from the (matt 5)/an entire chapter in the bible and relate it to online social or private interactions. (The writer of this blog worked in help-desk at a college and knows that technology can be used for EVIL or GOOD)......

In all honesty, it is better to have your children know how to run a wringer washing machine and live as if they are living in the 1930's BEFORE they even attempt to do any online internet activities that require private accounts.  The schools don't agree (as they don't have guards on their eyes about rated-x materials, as well as the parents can have on their child's eyes).  But that is just the way the modernized school happens to be.
