A woman out side the home.....blasphemy exposed

As many of us in the United States are aware, women are working outside the home in great numbers. Not only that but some women who are considered SAHM perform many wicked deeds within their own homes and attempt to live foolish and lavish lives. In fact many have surpassed the wages of many men without guilt or shame in their selfish economic condition. Some of these women claim to be Christians while others out-right reject Christ as savior. Unfortunately, our nation is suffering spiritually as a result of this downward and very dangerous trend. Family's are torn apart by the woman who wanders, economy's loose a solid foundation as people are deceived to believe woman can handle the pressures of home and work life out side the presence of her children, crimes surpass that found among the heathen in jungle territory, abortions skyrocket, churches are thrown into complete acceptance of fornification, divorces are the norm.....the list can go on. The word of God is true and MUST be obeyed if we would like to see a reversal in this devastating blow on humanity.

As the bible states in Titus 2:5 "To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Now there are a few words in this verse that may need to be exposed at a deeper level in order to grasp the spiritual depth of this very simple verse.

We will look at the original greek words and the dictionary definition of the major words in this verse first:
discreet = sōphrōn, which by definition means safe (sound) in mind, that is, self controlled (moderate as to opinion or passion): - discreet, sober, temperate.
keepers = oikouros, (a guard; be “ware”); a stayer at home, that is, domestically inclined (a “good housekeeper”): - keeper at home
chaste = hagnos, properly clean, that is, (figuratively) innocent, modest, perfect: - chaste, clean, pure.
obedient = hupotassō, to subordinate; reflexively to obey: - be under obedience (obedient), put under, subdue unto, (be, make) subject (to, unto), be (put) in subjection (to, under), submit self unto.
blasphemed = blasphēmeō, to vilify; specifically to speak impiously: - (speak) blaspheme (-er, -mously, -my), defame, rail on, revile, speak evil.

blasphēmia
vilification (especially against God): - blasphemy, evil speaking, railing.

(hebrew word) nâqab
to puncture, literally (to perforate, with more or less violence) or figuratively (to specify, designate, libel): - appoint, blaspheme, bore, curse, express, with holes, name, pierce, strike through.

(hebrew word) nâ'ats to scorn; or (Ecc_12:5) by interchange for H5132, to bloom: - abhor, (give occasion to) blaspheme, contemn, despise, flourish, X great, provoke.

(hebrew word) bârak to kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); also (by euphemism) to curse (God or the king, as treason): - X abundantly, X altogether, X at all, blaspheme, bless, congratulate, curse, X greatly, X indeed, kneel (down), praise, salute, X still, thank.

Ok, so now we have the basic definitions. It is important to have a sound mind (discreet) to keep the home like a small business (keepers), pure in thought and mind (chaste, removing worldly influences from the home), submissive to ones own husband (not another pastor, friend's etc) as fit in the Lord (obedient) and being good. All these must be accomplished and balanced so that the word of God is not spoken of as being evil. It seems that it is easy to overlook the danger of blasphemy and the danger it imposes through other verses in the bible.

Here are a list of verses that expose the danger and the solution to those who blaspheme:

-And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death.
(Lev 24:16)

-And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die. And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, and as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them. They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people. And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.
(1Ki 21:10-13)

-And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
(2Ki 19:3)

-Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
(2Ki 19:22)

-O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
(Psa 74:10)

-Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
(Psa 74:18)

-And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
(Mat 9:3-5)

-Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
(Mat 12:31-32)

-For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
(Mat 15:19-20)

-And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
(Mar 14:62-64)

-And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee? And many other things blasphemously spake they against him. And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying, Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:
(Luk 22:64-67)

-Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
(Joh 10:32-33)

-Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
(Joh 10:36)

-And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God. And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,
(Act 6:10-12)

-But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
(Act 13:45)

-For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.
(Act 19:37)

-Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
(Rom 2:23-25)

-But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
(Col 3:8-9)

-Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
(1Ti 1:20)

-This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
(2Ti 3:1-5)

-But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
(Jas 2:6-8)

-I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
(Rev 2:9)

-And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
(Rev 13:1)

-And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
(Rev 13:5-6)

-And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
(Rev 16:9)

-And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
(Rev 16:21)

-So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
(Rev 17:3)

Ok so as we have seen there a number of verses in the bible that expose blasphemy and the results to those who blaspheme God's name. Jezebel falsely accused an innocent man of blasphemy simply so she could take over his property, Christ was falsely accused of blasphemy and those who actually do blaspheme God are punished severely throughout scripture. Satan and blasphemy are one in the same....... Feminism is the deadly poison of Satan. If we have once been blasphamous in our lives let us repent of that wickedness today and turn towards Christ as savior. Let us continue on in God's word in obedience and submission.
