Values before marriage are more important than "virginity"......

Instead of thinking that being "virgins" at marriage makes a person complete, a person needs needs needs to think SCRIPTURE WISE.  BE WISE according to what the BIBLE ACTUALLY SAYS!

Yes, Jesus clearly said to the woman caught in adultery to "sin no more" (John 8:11).  What was the woman's sin?  Was she married to another man and committing an act of infidelity?  Was she a "prostitute"?  Was she Bathsheba and purposefully standing up on housetops without a "top" on?  Was a she like the woman who had five husband's (obviously the woman at the well was not a virgin each time she was married again) and kept picking up new men?  What ever the case happened to be, SHE HAD SIN IN HER HEART.

Maybe that particular woman caught in adultery was a VIRGIN on her wedding night!  Gasp!  A virgin can still have adultery problems?  Even LGBT types of adultery problems?  YES!  In fact, up to 20% of men AND women have infidelity problems! Virgin on wedding not or not! Yikes!

All in all, it is NOT a bad thing to be a "virgin" on wedding night.  It is also not a bad thing to decide to "stop sinning" and delay marriage until the values match.  I am NOT the one to judge on each person's situation.

This is a FACT.  Being a virgin on wedding night, for both or either men OR women will not......I repeat.....WILL NOT prevent sin problems in the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren!  YIKES.  All that work......for nothing!

Being "born again" is the KEY thing! For example, Grandmother had some children. One child is a woman but is very masculine and unmarried, another is divorced and got-remarried-by-sleeping-with the woman, another had three or four pregnancy out of wedlock and lived off of govt' for many years. The grandchildren.....gets worse. One is in prison for showing children pornography, one had an infidelity problem and died (God judged him), another has domestic-verbal-abuse problems, another one raped a woman....... so on and so forth.... Yes, being a virgin on wedding night is a gift.....but beware of thinking too highly of this gift.

I agree with what Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery, "sin no more"....... we don't know the circumstances for the adultery situation, but each situation is different for each woman and virginity in and of itself won't protect a couple from sin (like infidelity). Some people consider not-kissing a good thing. Some even go as far as no-touching at all. But waiting to do the touching and things before values are ensured and checked is a GOOD IDEA to prevent awkward social problems.

Sometimes people don't acknowledge this issue but there ARE kissing cousins out there. No pun intended but any gender may practice these things..... And they are still there, to this day.......some people STILL have "levant" cousins......1st, 2nd, 3rd cousins etc etc. Which Jesus CLEARLY had "levant cousins" (starting at 1 minute)...... some people don't know their full Genetic history (trace to 10%??), but believe me, Jewish people are there on planet earth (sorry hitler.....you lost).

Anyway, in summary, I agree with people who are wise and it is Better to think BIBLICAL about these sorts of things. Women HAVE been raped like Dinah and Tamar in the bible. Men have been pulled around by "potiphar's wife" and so forth (I heard of a guy who was a teenager who was "raped/pressured" by an older woman). So it is MORE VALUABLE to ensure that VALUES match before tieing the knot. Even though people tie-the-knot.....doesn't prevent sin issues from creeping in. Some people WILL either embrace their sin, or just practice swinging and things of that sort (believe me, I've worked in healthcare from various disability conditions and walks of life and have seen and heard all sorts of stuff). Its called nature and human condition.

Just as a side note........a LOT of exposure to Pornography DAMAGES relationship bonds. Yes, healthcare workers have seen things. Yes, people have worked at swimming pools and other places with less modesty, but a LOT of exposure to Pornography creates a "bondage" to "fantasy" and not to a real person. It is ok to be beautiful, in fact it is very good, but it is NOT ok to be in bondage and addicted. I would NEVER encourage a relationship to continue if I knew that this is a problem for one of the couples.

For a real perspective.....

Study of the Islamic religion? How should Christians study it?

There seems to be two ways that people study this religion.  After all 1/5 up to 1/4 of the human populations on this planet follow this religion.  Smart people even cater to this religion because they have friends, who know friends who know friends who follow this religion.  Of course, friends want to protect the rights of life for friends.

1. They put a big stamp of approval on it.

2. They put a big red-flag on it.

Note: The Muslim religion is a -religion- it is NOT a race or nationality.  However, the religion CAN, HAS and DOES effect the population and heritage conditions.

I say consider 1 and 2 and also the Note.

Why consider 1. when there is a lot of terrorism problems within the religion?  Because there are elements of Christian conditions and thinking within the religion.  (I'm not talking about elements of justice, righteousness and woman's rights.....but other things.....neutral elements that do not harm outsiders or insiders)  A free thinking people looks at the "big picture" and really shows the human condition for what it is from many different cultural angles.  The culture of the middle-east is just that.  A culture.

From a realistic perspective it is BETTER to continually study the bible and read elements of suffering and Christian persecution (and other minority groups too) from Muslim countries than to constantly cater to neutral elements in a sense.

Things that could be studied:
1. Marriages that Muhammad had.  Muhammad married an older woman and had a monogomous marriage for a while.  That marriage was "neutral" in a sense.  His marriage to a young undeveloped girl was a big red-flag in Christian thinking.......but yet, in various cultures even indigenous cultures did practice age-gap marriage after development.  Polygyny?  Yes, there are various ways and means that men practiced these things through the centuries.  Even Christian men have practiced polygyny!  Solomon among others played a big part in the bible.  Is western thinking better?  Divorce and Remarriage seems to be the western practice in a certain sense.  Cousin marriages.  That has been in Christian groups too.

2. The negative sin-driven behaviors of Muhammed, like his antisemitism (towards Jews), his war mongering behavior, his what ever else is -bad.-  That way a person KNOWS what is wrong with the conditions of the founder of this faith.  Try various resources like www.islam-watch.com, acts 17 apologetics, and so forth.

3. The family life of people who have lived under the religion for many years.  Surprisingly there is a strong bond among people in the culture.  In some areas, the people are kinder and gentler than areas of west where much sexual impurity and political turmoil brews.

4. How Christians live among the Muslims.  Sure there are areas where things are not as extreme and people live among the Muslims.  Some areas are more peaceful than western culture! Some areas are simply not peaceful. Try Live Dead.

5. The life of people who came out of ..... Arab culture and perhaps moved to USA or other things.  Maybe they are still living in the Muslim religion or maybe they are living a more secular life.  Knowing REAL people helps overcome prejudices.

6. Interact online with others from regions with Muslim religion, without harassment, but basic friendly conversation.  You do NOT have to embrace or cater to a particular religion to interact online with someone.

There is more.....really.  The list of things to consider.  YES, there are violent extremists out there......for obvious reasons, be careful folks.

But in the face of consideration of cultures outside of the USA......one needs to understand things from various angles.

Why does -Laura- write about stopping antisemitism?

The answer is simple.

Marriage and family.

I could stop there and not say anything more, and the conversation would be over and life would move on.

I can think of at least 3 guys who are my husband's "look alike" to a certain extent.  Which antisemitism has a tendency to be based on outward appearances from time to time.  Jesus simply said it is based upon inward thoughts towards God, "Mat_6:7  But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."

Sometimes a person who isn't careful at observation could confuse a latino-looking person with a Palestinian person or any other person from the Levant, simply because of the darker hair and skin tone.  The difference is usually this: The middle east people have curly hair and the latino-indigenous american people are more likely to have straight hair.

Now if one considers wisely these conditions of "looking alike" but truly understands the coordination of the heavens with the ancient days.....and the story of genesis and what it means for the changes in the cultures through time........a person would become wise.  It takes a lot of time to create a culture and a group of people.  To tear it down is not worth it, as the heavenly father watches all.

A few other reasons I support the confronting antisemitism and eliminating it is extended family conditions and heritage, community conditions near my home (a larger local Jewish community) which I grew up near, friends who live in Israel, knowledge about "puriim" with location of Tomb in Iran, knowledge of Hebrew language (despite being a missing language for many years), friends online and offline with messianic beliefs, the reality that many family members and perhaps even my self would NEVER be capable of surviving somethings like what happened in WW2 and things of that sort.  Note: some people assume that sexual impurity promotion (lgbt marriage etc) is equal in strength of eliminating hatred to racism.....which it is not.....a hard heart that hates conditions of nature is just that......a hard heart.

Suffering from the "crash and burn" talent???

Some have talent stored up in the realms of the imagination, that we have so much to share, that we can't really put it in one place.  People say, do this, do that.  Go to this school, go to that school.  Get this job, get that job.

The talents may be in anything from how fast a person can run, to how far a person can throw a stone, to how quickly a person can memorize a complicated piano piece or how well a person can draw a picture of a memory from the past.  Maybe there is talent in math or science skill.

When reality hits.

Life reveals itself.

And the TRUTH comes to play.

Sometimes talents come in the simplest of things on this earth as we are only here once.

I agree that true freedom is not found in playing the tune to extremes in the political realms.

Sometimes the heart is broken........

Should Christians support "arranged marriage"?

Look at it this way.  When Adam and Eve were in the garden, they DIDN'T have a choice in their marriage partner!

If one considers that argument, then the story of what is appropriate when it comes to arranged marriage is over.

However, God decided that the populations of the world would be of different races and nationalities as happened after the tower of babel.......

I have been to a friend's somewhat "arranged marriage."  She went to all 12 years of public school and also pursued a little college education.  Is she still married?  Yes.  Is she supportive of her home and husband?  Yes.

So because these factors are the case for HER, the same can be true of any Christian who participates in an "arranged marriage."

Here is the issue at hand.  Christian arranged marriages are NOT like other culture arranged marriages.  Some Christian arranged marriages have included polygyny practices and cousin marriages.  But the truly biblical "arranged marriages" are fully led by the HOLY SPIRIT, not by the will of the flesh.

Here are some biblical reasons to support biblical HOLY SPIRIT "arranged marriage":

1. The bible says it is not good for a man to be alone.  The secular world strives to improve and cater to the the "independent life."

2. The bible says that fornicators and whore-mongers are not a part of "God's plan."  It is better to settle down.

3. The bible says that scorners and idolaters are not a good part of "God's plan."  Marriage is a tool to show LOVE, while objects and false judgments of people are NOT something God wants humanity to honor.  In other words, political discourse are not "godly," but merely worldly tools.

4. The bible says to "choose life."  Yes, the Christian faith should be pro-life for most pregnancies so long as the mother's life isn't in danger.  Mary chose life and Elizabeth did too.  These two women begin the New Testament and the Christian faith.

5. The Holy Spirit led Joseph to marry, Mary, the mother of Jesus, despite the pregnancy out of wed-lock.  Giving a testimony of a HOLY SPIRIT derived marriage, continues to show the world that GOD still continues to SPEAK to us.

6. Education is only useful if someone shares it willingly with another.  A highly educated man with no love is like a clanging symbol.

7. The HOLY SPIRIT can lead couples to remain together even in difficult marriage circumstances.  Some couples end up with one spouse as an unbeliever, but the HOLY SPIRIT can work through some hearts of lost souls.

8. The guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT costs NO MONEY.  It doesn't cost a lot for a dress or wedding dress to understand this principle.

9. A HOLY SPIRIT arranged marriage shows the symbol of the COVENANT between God and Abraham.

10. The HOLY SPIRIT shows us that God's love is stronger than death.

These are various reasons to support the HOLY SPIRIT "arranged marriage."

The HOLY SPIRIT arranged marriage is NOT the same as a parent-led or a pastor-led marriage, though the family and church fellowship CAN and could enhance the conditions for such marriage.  In fact, having "man" intervene is a way to destroy the vital bond that was created at the beginning of the person's life.

These are various reasons NOT to support the HOLY SPIRIT "arranged marriage."

1. The values of the couple simply do not match.  Just because a "call" came into a man's mind, doesn't mean that the marriage should take place.  Just because the couple appear "good together," doesn't mean that they will respect each other in difficult times.

2. The couple is not mature in their faith and only look to outward appearances.  Although it IS possible to get married to a beautiful looking person, it is NOT good to look at the outward appearance, but to teach one's self to focus inwardly.  (Suggestion: male and female modesty and sobriety)

3. One of the people choosing arranged marriage is fairly "new" in the faith and understanding of how to make an "arranged marriage" work.  For most people, that would mean that a 3 1/2 year of dedication to following Jesus (study of the word) should have taken place following a baptism.

4. One of the couples have a severe disability or disease that could cause an early death.

5. One of the couples are not comfortable with people or arrangements like polygyny, brotherly and sisterly love (holy kiss), cousin marriage and things of that matter.  If one person simply doesn't want to practice "cousin marriage" for scientific/biological reasons (even though this HAS been a practice among people for a very long time since biblical days), then it is NOT good to continue with the particular arranged marriage.

6. One of the couples wants to be more "lenient" in their sexuality practices.  Swinging, open marriage, polyamoury or group marriage.

7. One of the couples wants to be more "strict" in their sexuality practices.  Frequent prayers, fastings, serving others in the missionary field, purposefully putting one's self into dangerous areas and so forth.

8. One of the couples doesn't want to improve their health so that a marriage bond can take place.  A marriage where the couple only get together once a year is not a very strong bond.  (If there is a health reason, then that is a legitimate reason)

9. One of the couples are not "strong Christians."  They want worldly entertainment.  They are interested in major political discourse with lots of anger and rage.

10. The couple either has a MAJOR racism issue.  One of the spouses hides their own hatred of a couple's sibling, cousin or other relative based on race or nationality.  The couple's culture and racial conditions are extremely different one from another that it would be hard to see things eye to eye.

11. The couple are being FORCED to get married by an outside source.  Maybe a family member or church friend is forcing the couple to wed.

A person who DID NOT participate in a Christian "arranged marriage" can STILL find ways to support those who are in such marriages, and find ways to BUILD VALUES within their heart that would encourage the HOLY SPIRIT to guide their marriage.  It is NEVER too late to invite the HOLY SPIRIT into a person's home or heart no matter if a person is married or single.

All in all, a Christian "arranged marriage" does NOT encourage "feminism behavior" as described in this article.  In stead, the LAMB is glorified.

Feminism doesn't solve problems in Christianity.....

This is one thing that needs to be defined appropriately.

*Woman's rights: The ability to find grace, redemption, mercy and justice as necessary so as to avoid being mistreated by the hands of man.

*Feminism: The ability of a woman to destroy another man, the role of womanhood, the conditions of bearing and raising children and to assume the power of destroying and creating "god."

*Godly woman: A woman who acknowledges the Holy Spirit on a regular basis.  She knows basic biblical doctrine.  She is willing to suffer for the life of preserving the gospel, the preserving lives that are in danger and other elements that need a touch of more godliness.  She is often found with a kind and gentle personality.  She promotes modesty and sobriety.  Rarely would she get angry except for the causes of establishing proper justice for humanity.  She understands the purpose of God's laws and ways (first five books of the bible).

*Wicked woman: A woman who abuses, manipulates situations for her own personal glory.  She may have major depression or anxiety along with anger issues that stem from a lack of discerning spiritual conditions in the hearts of men and women.  She is not in favor of supporting or encouraging God's laws and ways (first five books of the bible).  She is not in favor of having a kind and gentle personality.  She doesn't want to promote modesty and sobriety.

There is NO intellectual probability for a woman (or supporters) to be found in either of the four categories.  The educational level of the woman or man who supports each cause could be from any educational background.  Essentially the "bad women" do not consider morality or character as a value.  The "good women" consider the conditions of the heart and morality as a value.  There is no particular political value that categorizes the women in the groups, but it is likely that people who went through suffering and trials have found the right place to be.

For example: A woman, who acts on feminist instincts, in a "right wing" view calls all men from the middle east a "rape-u-gee."  For obvious reasons, this simply doesn't describe men from the middle east by nationality and conditions or heart.......yes, there could be actual rape-gang men, but not all men from a nationality or origin are the same in behavior.

Now that the definitions are given, one can consider the realms of Christianity.  Christianity in summary is about glorifying "the lamb."  "The lamb" according to the book of Revelation, wishes for the followers to admire and approve of "the law."  From this account, feminism and the "wicked women" cannot and do not participate in Christian roles in any way, no matter their political party!  They will NEVER solve problems that are in favor of Christian living!  The feminist simply doesn't "change the heart" to do better, but rather encourages disapproval of HIS role on the cross.

So when a person WANTS to know if they are truly of the faith......start with study of the "torah"(commandments) and then go from there......The book of revelation tells us whom is a part of the puzzle to reveal the kingdom......

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
(Rev 22:13-17)

This verse doesn't say that women cannot TEACH the commandments to men in a way that is already explained through the generations or to encourage men to obey the commandments.  Rather, it says that the people (men or women) who do not DO his commandments are on the "outside" and are not have access to the -tree of life.-

Should a "Christian" woman go to college?

Based on this article by controversial -Lori Alexandar-, she seems to imply that any education post-secondary for women is bad-news.....because they may....gasp.....turn into someone like Taylor Swift in the video age 22.....But I'm like.....um, isn't physical health and healthy friends a NORMAL part of life.....to prevent issues like -depression- -anxiety- etc etc.  Jesus' hung out with the sinners, not with the pharisees and Sadducee for a reason.  (Note: YES some women who mess around too much DO get STD's which are life-threatening....so don't assume life is a free-loader and do what want with one's body)

While I do agree with some of her understandings about college, I simply cannot agree with ALL of her understandings about college.  I do agree with her understanding about "gender identity" and "flawless liberalism" that produces much pride and error with its excessive idolatry on the heart of man, instead of actual redemption.  I also agree that the excessive debt is only a burden on the home, especially if the future wife can't pay it all off on her own or she is extremely ill following college.

There are colleges that, though secular, teach about historical things that people need to know and that affect ALL people.  To this day, we may face extreme amounts of racial hatred within various homes, families and communities if it wasn't for some form of college education about that and the evils that brew in the heart of men.  There is NO EXCUSE for such vile evils to brew, especially in the heart of a person who calls themselves a Christian.

Even as a stay-at-home mom, I still have to deal with the "professional world."  If I could magically cause all babies to be born with unassisted child birth and basic easy to use midwifery, then I would never have to consult the "professional world."  The "professional world" has special certifications to get the career that people want, and that involves use of college education.  That anesthesiologist WILL be needed, if the 10+ children a woman bears have teeth and dental problems.  I would WANT to know that the man behind the curtain is skilled BOTH ethically and knowledge-wise as well.

Does a woman need to be a "professional" in this world to feel successful?  Like Ruth Gainsberg?  No.  She very clearly is a very intelligent woman, but she uses it to praise the will of men, not of God, in a general sense.  Her voting records show that.

From my perspective, just being a stay-at-home-mom does NOT automatically qualify a woman as a godly woman!  There are women who have lived off of the "fatherless home" business for YEARS to raise their children.  These women continue to live reckless lives, praising themselves and buying up the belief that they will never hurt anyone else for their "good behavior."  The next generation has to live off of this mentality.

I have heard of a woman who became a lawyer.  When she got married, she settled down and raised her children to the finest of their ability.  She remained in her faith (perhaps it was even a sort of jewish perspective).  She raised 10 children!  Did she let her education or career get in the way of raising her children?  No.

From my understanding, it is ok to delay college.  It is ok to say no to college and do an alternative independent studies.  It is ok to study basic homemaking skills and remedies.  It is NOT ok to say yes to "scorning" "mocking" "belittling" and other such horrors on the human soul all for the sake of abandoning knowledge.  Why?  Because family-life itself revolves around the conditions of history (like civil wars, WW1, WW2 etc etc) and the conditions of the future generations.    "Pro_29:18  Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."  Knowledge of "the law" and of the bible is essential for a successful home that is equipped to deal with the strains and burdens of being human, and being a LIGHT to the dark world.

If anything, learn "the law" in a parashah style of study and also learn how it connects to the New Testament.  Doing so will help a woman understand the purpose behind JESUS in the first place!  Learn these things from a messianic perspective if at all possible.

Furthermore, why NOT get a little education to help in getting a "better career" in case the husband is ill, injured and simply cannot work to pay off the mortgage.  It would be WORSE to feel like a woman can't get into building a little small business, because she simply is afraid or has no skills.  The only career options available would be in menial task labor, where the insults and corrupt people constantly have to work next to her......making her more stressed than ever when she has to come back home.

Furthermore, -Lori Alexandar- does NOT suggest ALTERNATIVES to HELP a wife or mother learn things from a more frugal perspective so that the view of the world is not so "skewed" or "judgmental" of others.  For example, Masaman, and Barean Ministry....setting up "reading lists" with a wide variety of books (www.goodreads.com).......
