If you are Christian, should you make sure you are attending a local bible based church or fellowship?
The answer would need to come directly from the bible. Here are some bible verses about "forsake":
Psa_71:9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
Psa_89:30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
Pro_9:6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
Pro_28:4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
Isa_41:17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
Isa_55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Heb_10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Notice how the elderly should not be forsaken by the Lord. Notice how some people forsake his law (some church groups ignore God's laws entirely!). Notice how people should forsake the foolish people to get understanding. Notice how God himself provides for the poor and needy! Notice how the wicked should forsake his way. And lastly, notice that people should NOT forsake the assembling of ourselves together.
Ok. So there are some things that people SHOULD forsake(wickedness, foolish people, people who ignore God's laws etc). Some things people of faith should NOT forsake (the law, attending to needy people, assembling of ourselves together etc.).
All in all, as Christian, even if one's spouse is NOT a true or very righteous person, it is essential to abide by the rules of what to "forsake" and what not to "forsake." Go ahead and look up more verses that apply to "forsake"
Now note, going to church and the church counts the "number" of heads in the congregation, does NOT mean that the church is a godly church. You will need to KNOW God's laws and KNOW that the people within the church want to study scripture in order to determine if the fellowship is of God or not.

A fellowship group, that is godly, and that is within walking distance, or has a special transportation service is WONDERFUL, as it is difficult to move young children, and other individuals that have difficulty moving from place to place easily.

Poor govt' based healthcare provision: Immoral people are the problem
The condition of healthcare in the USA is not ruined by Jim and Sue who raise 5 children, give their children healthy meals each day and provide a basic safe home for their children. They teach their children that the boys will be boys and the girls will be girls. End of story because the bible is the good story. In fact, it is the story of how men and women have had to suffer for such faith.
The condition of healthcare in the USA IS ruined by frivolous Jake who wants to be named as Kate for thousands of dollars in costs to change what God created. He lived as a smoker, drank a lot and now expects the govt' to pay for his foolish choices. Yet, when people mention that "natural herbal" remedies and other "free resources " from nature are available, he/she still insists on attention grabbing!
Furthermore, the govt' itself does nothing to stop a box of gloves from costing 50$ per patient when the patient is charged services. Such folly in spending to make extra money creates more problems for the patient in the long run.
Thankfully, some doctors are wise enough to start up services that are more economical and practical to the patients, in such a way that they KNOW where their money is going and what is HAPPENING with the money.
Like I said, USA can be a wonderful nation, if people recognize the "frivolous" spending, and recognize that morality PREVENTS such frivolous needs.
I do believe in providing some govt' services or pay-as-you-go for the neediest people: Children under 18 health-services for BASIC needs(no abortion services to cover up the pedophile), basic schooling for the children 8-13 so that reading and math can be sufficient for the work-load in English language(most people never read beyond 8th grade level on daily basis), elderly or veteran services for those 65 and older, major disability services so long as the faith/relationships of the person are respected.....

Does -feminism- lead to neglect of children?
*This article is not edited for the grammar queen, as being a "strong woman" doesn't always require such keen grammerly skills* Yes. The women of the generation before us (well some of the women were wise in the generation before us, some were not so wise) were not taught to raise "Children" but were forced to live off of day-cares, public schools, endless activities that promote -self,- dance-club routines which encourage young girls to be dancers rather than givers, angry women who do not know how to control their temper, women who do not model scripture (wise woman vs. foolish of proverb 14) so on and so forth. Endless attention to getting a "degree" but no knowledge of how to apply the bible to one's life in a very real way, is a form of feminism. Anger at men, whether the men are of the same nationality, culture and heritage or not, produces an angry women who is mad at "men" and figures not that her own temper causes her to be ignorant of the true meaning for her life......
Some cases of neglect can be so severe that women would rather go "clubbing" than attend to her children's crys every single weekend. A foolish grandmother would allow this behavior to continue. Other cases of neglect can be life-threatening as the mother fails to attend to basic needs (food, shelter, clothing, attention) which leads to mortality.
Essentially, by abortion practices, and angry women practices, women have abandoned their true calling to be "strong women." The women don't have to be ignorant of tribal values or anything like that, just the general act of "forcing" a rejection on the spirit of being human and raising children seems as a crime by enhanced feminism behavior.
By historical perspective, children were OFTEN neglected more by the "wild woman" parents and sometimes by the "single mother" parents, than there were neglected by women who were aware of her condition to control her self. Orphanages were filled with neglected children. Occasionally the children were put into orphanages historically because mothers and father were ill, injured and other things where no other family member or community members could care for the child. Historically, some children were called "adults" by the time they were 13 or even 14 years of age! This doesn't mean that people in the past who still believed in "woman as helpmete" were dull or dumb in their thinking. In fact, today, we may be no better than the people of the past, as abortion is chosen by parents who created a child and didn't want it, simply because adoption options are SOOO expensive and so many regulations and laws keep good godly parents from adoption. In the past, they could have easily had access to such options in the past by simply stating that they have farm land and a place for the child to roam.

On the other hand -feminism- IF it is grounded in WOMAN's RIGHTS according to the bible and according to the bible alone, does NOT lead to neglect of children. Women of the bible like "Tamar" or "Dinah" who were once victims, know that their strength comes from the LORD and choose not to cave into the bad behaviors of men. They choose to REMAIN in the position to be a mother(the stories do not imply this directly, but it doesn't discredit motherhood) and choose to keep their dignity alive despite the false accuser.
To strengthen one's dignity, simply learn how to keep one's own HOME in better condition, learn how to LOVE one's OWN husband better, learn how to keep a JOY in one's own spirit. Try such ministry websites like: www.aboverubies.org

Seek ye first the KINGDOM of God! "Mat_6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
If the life of Jesus is not yet embedded into your heart, all the other parts of your life and the confusions of this world will not fit together.
Even the conditions of nature will NOT work together correctly unless God is FIRST in your life.
A way to grasp this understanding is by trusting in the Holy Bible. Believe in the pages, the stories, the ways of overcoming evils in our life.
Meditation on scripture helps this process a lot.
Yes, the bible is for people of ANY political choice! However, there are political behaviors that are not good (sexual impurity, angry man or woman, greed, not being wise and allowing wicked to rule or come into one's home etc).
Other things, like gardening, fellowship, companions, news stories, sewing, fixing things, cooking, and so forth will become more enjoyable and approachable if God is FIRST in your life.
Try a good reading plan and stick with it. Incorporate the bible reading practice into the education plans for your children. Here are possible options:

Heavenly signs during Jesus Birth? Qumran Calendar!
Where in the bible feasts is there required an "eighth day"? Answer: Lev_23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath. (Feast of Tabernacles)
Hence this is written in the scripture the time for Jesus to be be born and circumcised. This is the ONLY FEAST in which the "eighth day" has written instructions. Men are not to add to, or take away from the scripture or else they are wrong astronomically and scripture wise.
The event of the full moon located on aires after the Fall-Equinox is a once and non-repeatable condition because the stars shift as earth moves through the galaxy. (This particular event is calculated via. Qumran calendar)

Stop hating people who have "talent" in our society.
Maybe they think about things differently than you.
Maybe they do things in a way that surprises you in their understanding of the bible.
Maybe they know things from a Jewish or Middle East perspective.
Maybe they know things from a Indigenous perspective.
Maybe they know things from an Asian perspective.
Maybe they are of ancestry of the first settlers in the USA.
People bring their "knowledge" and talent from different angles.
By unfriending, blocking, avoiding engaging in conversation with such people, YOU are the problem for YOUR Jealousy!
If you are considering your self as a Christian, but you do not like to hear the TRUTH that many people who called themselves "Christian" falsely converted, created mass genocide conditions, raped various cultures, enslaved various cultures etc etc.......then the problem is NOT with their talent and WISDOM! The problem is with YOU and how you DEAL with such human tragedies!
Perhaps you don't like the research they did about "marriage" in the past (perhaps it was a little more polyamourous than people realize) or the wicked conditions of NERO.
Perhaps you don't like the idea that ABORTION is MURDER especially if the child was a fit child or had that potential (aka. the child could have survived past 8 days after birth).
Perhaps you don't like the idea of full-water baptism, study scripture daily, worship on Sabbath Day's, women as helpmete, praying for the sick for supernatural healing or other things that you in your religion do not practice......
Perhaps they just happen to eat the wrong apple pie, because ONLY YOUR grandmother bakes it the right way and SAYS it the right way (aka. you don't even know indigenous languages YET).
Whatever the case may be......
The problem is with YOU and YOUR condition before the HEAVENLY condition and the condition of your HEART!
Their talent may be in music, natural medicine, education, writing, self-sustainability, astronomy, basket weaving etc etc. The creator offers wisdom if people listen.
It is EASY to love the talent-less people in our society. The bums who say nothing but.....well nothing. It is easy to love those with a 5th grade education, because they really can't explain the deep inner details of how a machine works. Their faith may be there (as a bible is written at a fifth grade level), but the STRENGTH of the LORD is given to ALL people who repent! Even to PAUL (a talented educated man).
It is HARD to love the talented people.......because people have jealousy problems. Do the HARD thing.
You never know.....your behavior on-line or off-line could be held accountable before the king of kings. It may even be held accountable before your next job interview? Maybe your future spouse wants to see how you interact with the disabled Asperger syndrome people who post a lot of "tough to think about bible verses." Would you react with "they are nuts" or "they are gifted." Maybe that church you love to attend may ignore you when you would like to participate in something super special, but your online interactions show that you refuse to be friends with the "out casts." Maybe that friend who was looking for wisdom from you, may ignore you after she finds out you often unfriend or block people who share bible wisdom. That job you want to apply for, which includes working with a lot of disabled people and socially unusual situations, will not hire you because you often unfriend or block people who come from poor, foreign, minority, orphan or other similar back grounds. Think about that for a bit. (You do NOT have to tell your employer that you have a Facebook account or other online accounts, however, there MAY be people who are LOOKING up YOUR records and BEHAVIOR.)
(The only time I can say not to concern one's self with talented people is if they are encouraging your heart to hate what is good (God's laws are GOOD).....what ever that may be.......God's Judgement is going to be for those who call evil.....good and good.....evil. Do not even try to work with the "wicked" of this world, even if everyone calls them talented.)
Furthermore, you blocking their light, even if that person who is talented has 1 or more disabilities, is to deny that person a VOICE to speak. If you won't even listen to them, how do you think God reacts to you when you become disabled and need a voice?
Jesus had the ULTIMATE TALENT! He had the gift of death on the cross, and raising after three days!

Perhaps you don't like the idea of full-water baptism, study scripture daily, worship on Sabbath Day's, women as helpmete, praying for the sick for supernatural healing or other things that you in your religion do not practice......
Perhaps they just happen to eat the wrong apple pie, because ONLY YOUR grandmother bakes it the right way and SAYS it the right way (aka. you don't even know indigenous languages YET).
Whatever the case may be......
The problem is with YOU and YOUR condition before the HEAVENLY condition and the condition of your HEART!
Their talent may be in music, natural medicine, education, writing, self-sustainability, astronomy, basket weaving etc etc. The creator offers wisdom if people listen.
It is EASY to love the talent-less people in our society. The bums who say nothing but.....well nothing. It is easy to love those with a 5th grade education, because they really can't explain the deep inner details of how a machine works. Their faith may be there (as a bible is written at a fifth grade level), but the STRENGTH of the LORD is given to ALL people who repent! Even to PAUL (a talented educated man).
It is HARD to love the talented people.......because people have jealousy problems. Do the HARD thing.
You never know.....your behavior on-line or off-line could be held accountable before the king of kings. It may even be held accountable before your next job interview? Maybe your future spouse wants to see how you interact with the disabled Asperger syndrome people who post a lot of "tough to think about bible verses." Would you react with "they are nuts" or "they are gifted." Maybe that church you love to attend may ignore you when you would like to participate in something super special, but your online interactions show that you refuse to be friends with the "out casts." Maybe that friend who was looking for wisdom from you, may ignore you after she finds out you often unfriend or block people who share bible wisdom. That job you want to apply for, which includes working with a lot of disabled people and socially unusual situations, will not hire you because you often unfriend or block people who come from poor, foreign, minority, orphan or other similar back grounds. Think about that for a bit. (You do NOT have to tell your employer that you have a Facebook account or other online accounts, however, there MAY be people who are LOOKING up YOUR records and BEHAVIOR.)
(The only time I can say not to concern one's self with talented people is if they are encouraging your heart to hate what is good (God's laws are GOOD).....what ever that may be.......God's Judgement is going to be for those who call evil.....good and good.....evil. Do not even try to work with the "wicked" of this world, even if everyone calls them talented.)
Furthermore, you blocking their light, even if that person who is talented has 1 or more disabilities, is to deny that person a VOICE to speak. If you won't even listen to them, how do you think God reacts to you when you become disabled and need a voice?
Jesus had the ULTIMATE TALENT! He had the gift of death on the cross, and raising after three days!

Building a temporary dwelling place "FEast of Tabernacles" "wigwam" etc.
Supplies:
1. A good heart.
2. Four corners for your dwelling that are sturdy. Four pillars. Try strong sturdy fence posts. Make some sturdy fence posts out of fallen trees.
3. Natural woven items. Cat-tail, grasses, big leaves, etc.
4. Ropes and or cat-tail cordage.....
5. Other things: Clothes pins, wires, tarps, rugs, blankets etc etc.
6. You may use this dwelling during the time of "Feast of Tabernacles." It doesn't even cost as much as a camper! It doesn't take up a lot of space because fence posts are so thin and can be hidden under a tree! You may use this dwelling year round! You may use this dwelling to go camping! You may use this dwelling to raise some small farm animals!
7. Add in house-like things to eat and celebrate as food, family and fellowship with the tribe year round out-doors is a gift! Practice living Off of the Grid!

(Christians may do these things in a "spiritual" sense and changing the approach to dealing with justice, but reality is that these laws are for the land of Israel and the times before Christ explained proper Justice and Mercy.) Lepers and Leprosy
- Not to drove off the hair of the scall (Lev. 13:33) (negative).
- That the procedure of cleansing leprosy, whether of a man or of a house, takes place with cedar-wood, hyssop, scarlet thread, two birds, and running water (Lev. 14:1-7) (affirmative).
- That the leper shall shave all his hair (Lev. 14:9) (affirmative).
- Not to pluck out the marks of leprosy (Deut. 24:8) (negative).
The King
- Not to curse a ruler, that is, the King or the head of the College in the land of Israel (Ex. 22:27) (negative).
- To appoint a king (Deut. 17:15) (affirmative).
- Not to appoint as ruler over Israel, one who comes from non-Israelites (Deut. 17:15) (negative).

Sometimes this is similar to modern day Jewish Calendar and sometimes this is not similar to the modern day Jewish Calendar. Often the timing is within two to three weeks (because the heavenly sign is "full moon" not sliver of a moon).
Learn about the connections between Old Testament and New Testament events. "Song of Moses" mentioned in Revelation for example, connects events from Old and New Testament.
Dress modestly and behave modestly by repentance before Jesus.
Over all, I do believe a person should "repent" (stop breaking God's laws), trust that JEsus/Yeshua was sacrifice for us and be "born again" and seek God in their future and for their future generations!

What IS the star the wise men saw FROM the EAST?
It is a star that did NOT appear on the day of Jesus birth! Link here which explains WHY the star was not visible at the time of his birth! The picture is an image 0-8-20 (stelarium time) which is equivalent to 5-20/21 in the Third Cycle of the Qumran Calendar (assuming that Jesus birth occurred on the first Cycle of the Qumran Calendar)
NOTE: The moon is at a "sliver" of a moon in the image.....immediately after the New Moon
(This video comes up with the SAME time and things to look for in this sign but does NOT explain that the sign the wise men saw was AFTER the birth of JESUS by within two years.....the video also believes in the time of the Jesus death as a time that wouldn't match scripture (darkness from 6th hour to 9th hour)......)

There is a 55 day difference between the sign of his birth and the sign the wise-men saw if one wants to find his actual "birth-day." God didn't give the sign in the heavens to "men" on his birthday for various reasons, but he DID provide the sign for his Circumcision (time when full-moon located below the RAM.....after the Feast of Tabernacles....which only the Jewish tribe would know about Tabernacles.....)

What is Holy Marriage?
1. Institutionalizing something does not make it Holy. Do research about "forced" one-man/one-woman marriages in history. Ahab and Jezebel were in a one-man/one-woman marriage in the bible but they were a wicked couple.
2. If Jesus is in your marriage/relationships then you would have to understand that Jesus loved two women and Lazarus too. All without breaking "Torah."
3. If Jesus is in your marriage/relationships you would have to understand that he confronted the unbelief in Capernea....it was worse than Sodom and Gommorah.
4. Some people love Jesus more than their spouse. And that doesn't mean the marriage needs to suffer or end.
5. Some people love other people more than their spouse. And that doesn't mean the marriage needs to suffer or end. (aka. many infidelity problems are resolved by choosing to allow their spouse FREEDOM in understanding of love. Some people do get away from institutionalization and into things like polygyny. or some spouses are not aware of injustice outside of the marriage which needs to be resolved.)
6. Marriage is not a place to solve "sin issues." It can reveal the issues. It can bring to light the things of humanity dark past. (ie. racism issues, domestic violence issues, addictions etc.)
7. Christianity is more than marriage conditions and status. It is willingness to go the extra mile.
8. Children are better off following JEsus as a whole than following their parents marriage/relationship status and beliefs. His character and example serve the child better than parental confusions.
9. A covenant marriage means that separation could occur if there are hidden issues in the heart of one of the spouse. The grace and goodness of God are what brings separated spouses back together, not the "laws" and regulations of the world-system.
10. Meditation on the scripture WILL help make your marriage HOLY. Not the other way around (forcing the relationship while ignoring the scripture). It will help make the possibility for other marriages to succeed if your current spouse dies.
11. Children don't need to suffer your anger if you are living in a strained relationship. They are not the ones who need to solve relationship problems that you have.
In summary: A Holy Marriage is willingness to OBEY the WORD in regards to Marriage. TRUST and FAITH are key elements and fruits because of this determination.

a. I believe in doing research and consider storing up knowledge and storing the wild-edible foods in one's local area. (dandelions are edible. Warmer climates that are not covered in desert, have abundance of wild foods year round.)
b. Check to see if there is a local pantry in your local area. If there is not, do get one started.
c. If I see many fancy cars, drugs, alcohol, swimming pools, fancy watches and nice clothes in your photos, I cannot send you money for food. Especially if you are in the photo.
d. I give priority to people of similar faith beliefs first for assistance (there are very few in this world who share common faith to that of my own).
e. I believe in being wise and doing labor of gardening, storing up dry foods etc.
f. Three days of fasting is not an evil thing. Followers of Jesus fasted three days.
g. I give priority for financial assistance for those who are persecuted for their faith/ideas/understandings etc. to those who are never persecuted.
h. I am not a "wealthy american" and live a more simple life, so I really wouldn't make a "big" impact on your needs unless you can point me to a specific organization that would allow honest and safe financial assistance.
i. I will never give money whom I suspect "sex trafficking" or "sexual assault possibility" or "Sex related terrorism practices." If you have asked me to marry you, and then later ask for money, then I know something is not right in your heart.

Four Bad things for Humanity.
Why don't seminary resources talk about these issues and refer to bible for the solution or individual wisdom? I don't know particularly except that many could actually refer to the seminary as the Theological Cemetery.
Four bad things that happen to humanity:
1. Sword = Genocide against the innocent, terrorism, no access to protect one's self from violent men etc.
2. Famine = People don't have access to good quality food or have no wisdom in what foods on this earth are edible, corrupt govt's (Concentration camps ie. racism problems are the WORST place for humanity when it comes to issues of access to food)
3. Wild Beasts = anything wild that could destroy a man. Perhaps it is actually a lion. Perhaps it is a wild heard of horses that stampeed someone. Perhaps it could even be a "machine" that malfunctioned (vehicle and transportation-related injuries)
4. Pestilence = anything that creates disease. Anything that indicates that man needs to be dependent on "men" for healthcare issues rather than true wisdom in herbal and supernatural remedy. Lack of cleanliness creates much disease. This could even come from STD problems or maternity ward problems! Sexual impurity leads to earlier death.
Name one group of people that has not had to deal with these issues on this earth. There is not ONE.

I too would be a Holocaust survival story.....
But my ancestors pretty much left Europe before WW1 and became "American citizens." I didn't know about Native Americans (except that they were a little wild) and how they were treated so severely until I was an adult and did research and experienced this and that. Red-Man was often treated as if he should behave like white man and join in the consumerist commercialism value systems, rather than just trust creator.
However, if I would have lived in Europe when I was in my teens to early 20's and lived during the era of Nazi Germany, I would have been a "throw away." I have German ancestry and mostly European ancestry, maybe some other ancestry that has some sort of darker skin. But the issue would be my "nature" and "behavior." I was considered at one time to have bipolar or to be of that type of personality (though the people diagnosing me really didn't think I truly had it.....it was just a phase in my life). [Beware that to falsely accuse someone of having something or doing something is a CRIME. DEFAMING someone's character based on medical conditions or non-medical conditions is CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR on their part.....not on victim's part] But due to understanding of natural therapy, I haven't had issues with anger OR depression episodes. I have had issues with post-partum depression which was resolved by natural therapy. So for the past 10 years I have been "free" of that. BUT it was only because of my understanding of the bible that I got out of that "phase" in my life. If you or a friend wants to know how to eliminate the "Bondage" of the mental illness you will have to talk to me privately. I will not speak about this issue "in public" because big-pharma wants......MONEY. There are also people who HATE the idea that the bible can cure big issues in a person's personal life.
So would I have been eliminated because the Nazi's hated the extra creative people (the manic depressive behaving ones)? Perhaps even the funny people who were in the LGBT category? What about the Gypsies? The other types of disabled people? The priests? NO!! The Nazi did not at first initially hate the "unusual ones" in the communities and towns. THEY hated based on RACE!
The answer about why I would have been "eliminated" is because the NAZI hated the JEWS!~! Some Jewish people are creative, like myself. Some Jewish people are conservative in their understanding of the scripture. Some Jewish people are liberal in their interpretation of how to tow the line for the person in need. Nothing political from the beginning, in either right-wing beliefs or left-wing beliefs. It was simply put, a hatred of the GOSPEL equaled a hatred of Jewish nationality people.
The stories of the Holocaust are horrible. Institutional values were placed as priority to human compassion. The Nazi could have cared less about you as a person and your medical conditions. They simply wanted to eliminate the Jewish people! So when ever you hear about someone claiming that the "Christians" killed so many people in Nazi Germany, Jewish and otherwise, you can rightfully say, "No, the Christians did NOT kill the Jewish people. NAZI's killed the Jewish people and other people who were not fit for their version of a -perfect society.-" Christians SHOULD know the scripture. Else they are NOT Christian, but a false version of Christian-like behavior. They should know that JESUS was a friend to Jewish people.......so why would a "Christ-like" person dislike such and such person of such and such nationality. The Nazi did not pick up "bible" and read it regularly and consider his inner desires to hate (Cain and Able issues), which could be eliminated by repentance. Such repentance leads to compassionate unconditional love for humanity. He or she simply did not consider it. HE did not want to know his CREATOR who is merciful and compassionate.
So my survival is because the Jewish people are given a chance to live, even in this yucky lust driven world. Jesus says to love unconditionally, even people of your own heritage AND people of different heritage. So the initial hatred was RACE based. (which would be opposition to culture differences and understandings as well). It is not based on God's ability to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah (the Nazi's eliminated people who were sodomites so to speak). It was based on hatred of a tribe, a tongue, a culture etc.
Where did these ideas to hate the "Jewish" people come from. If a person is wise and knows this history thing about WW1 then the person knows about Islamic ideologies and how those ideas spread........into literal "enjoyment" of recreating the episode where Cain murdered ABle......into WWII and via terrorism. Evil in the HEART is where EVIL brews. Meditation on Scripture (Holy Bible alone) helps eliminate such tendencies. Scripture will even eliminate the desire to "gossip" in small towns and communities.....the little things that don't make big headlines. It will help discern between the Christians of our past who were in error (protestant reformation and false conversations about how to treat minority communities...particularly Jewish) vs. Christians who were rightfully burned at the stake for truly trusting in the redeemer (foxes book and voice of the martyrs; pilgrim church by Broadbent).
Isaiah 63 (the *Song of Moses* is mentioned in the book of Revelation, so working with the blessing of Israel is important to faith.)
Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. Frustrations in the world of music..... Sodom and Gomorrah vs. Jesus
King David played music. The bible declares it. In fact, he used music to sooth the mind and emotions of King Saul who brewed MUCH hatred in his heart towards David. But David did NOT buy into Saul's feelings of hatred. HE continued to TREAT ugly in the heart Saul with kindness and respect. Saul is an example of worshiping the "pride" in men rather than the humble adoration of the creator.
Furthermore, David in the bible also had some issues with sin in his heart. He knew it, and declared it in Psalm 51. The reason for his sin wasn't because he gave up and said "I am born this way".......no way. He said "Psa 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. " Essentially he LOST connection with his creator! That is why he knew he was living in sin. Some have even gone so far as to say that it was not the sin of being with another man's wife that was the "adultery." The sin was in HIDING his behavior and MURDERING Bathsheba's husband. No sin exists unless there are two (or more) people involved. John the Baptist was murdered by two or more people and it was by the request of a woman who danced. The sin is in HIDING from the creator and admitting this truth.
If you are talented in any kind of music, whether it is just singing "Over the Rainbow" to your children, or if it is in creating full albums that are for sale to millions, you WILL encounter "Sodom and Gomorrah"...... that is a guarantee.
The reason is because Satan desires WORSHIP! Yes, worship. Music is a form of worship. Beautiful talented singers with wonderful singing voices are "caught," so to speak by "strange women" in Hollywood and beyond. The men look handsome and healthy and strong. The women play with the heart of man in these high talented positions......and literally break it. Jesus himself NEEDED to confront the evils of Capernea. He stated clearly that they were WORSE than Sodom and Gomorrah, because of their unbelief.
So the only way to confront the evils, is not to give into it. But to continue with musical talent. Overcome the evil in their heart with GOOD. Do not be deceived by others who want you to "bow down" and worship their "Sodom and Gomorrah" lifestyle. No, fulfill the work that God wants you to do on earth. STUDY the SCRIPTURE, SHEW thyself APPROVED.
You as a believer can sing secular songs (Song of Solomon is right in the middle of the bible and declares love.....come away with me Lucille). You can also sing beautiful songs that sooth the soul and are just generally fulfilling the comfort of the general tribe. You could sing tribal or cultural songs without looking like you love the tribe more than the creator of the tribe. And in many cases it is absolutely WONDERFUL to sing and know many hymns and praise songs.
Most importantly KNOW the scripture, so you do not get deceived by the ugly pattern of this fallen world. Such a pattern only leads to much heartache and early death.
