Are Messianic believers (hebrew roots also) the same as Evangelical Christians?

Yes and no.

Yes

-They believe in being born again
-They believe in the New Testament
-They believe in power of the Holy Spirit to change hearts
-Evangelical leaders can and do support Israel or general Jewish people.
-Believe in creation story and young earth (nature of animals cannot be changed by man)
-They may and do evangelize
-They practice repentance and full water baptism (note: some do not over emphasize these things depending on the group)
-Bible study is important
-Approve of "Levant Christians" (First century believers from gentile ancestry)
-they do not approve of Sodom and Gomorrah lifestyles (in evangelical circles this can be dependent on belief factors and extreme interpretations vs. repentance and turning from sin)

No

-They have higher interest in stopping anti-semitism or even extreme violence towards any sort of middle east (surrounding ancestry) people and culture traditions.
-They understand that a marriage that isn't based on the same values (particularly scripture values) will not work well
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvCSX2xEasw (Josh Harris is strictly evangelical).  Do not be unequally yoked.
-Some may say different things about "marriage conditions" (ie virgins who were raped can still follow scripture, people who practice or practiced polygyny can still follow scripture, king David's sin is only what is described in bible etc.)
-Deeper study of first five books of bible and its historical accuracy and actual archaeological conditions.  The interpretation of the bible is different.  Puriim (not in any interest in evangelical circles, is an interest in Messianic circles)
-Messianic tries to complete detach from Catholicism origins (or even orthodox) and focus more on Hebrew culture.
-Messianic is concerned with immodesty and encourage women to dress accordingly.  Headscarf wearing is not a "bad thing" but rather neutral to encouraged.
-Submissiveness is encouraged but women can speak up in groups.
-Approve of Jewish people who turn to Yeshua as Messiah.
-There are evangelical Christians who are extreme left-leaning....meaning they attempt to cater to the left-leaning nature of the culture instead of the actual biblical interpretation aka. "gay marriage" or other issues at hand (immigration, political features etc.).  Messianic often take the topic of Sodom and Gomorrah literally, just as the bible says it and how Jesus himself described it.  The focal point being that all forms of sexual impurity need to be restored by Jesus (Yeshua) himself.
-Messianic believers do not approve of most political goals, while evangelicals can have a tendency to put emphasis on "voting the bad guy out."  Political goals are not historically accurate and do not adhere to general truths.
-Messianic's look for "God signs" more readily to prove their faith is adequate and fruitful.

Messianic and Evangelical CAN and DO get along in certain aspects, but the fullness of faith can be different.

The Seventh Day Adventists are another type of "sabbath day" group.  They are neither evangelical nor messianic, but believers do need to be "born again" and even "non-resistant" as needed.  Some say they have "cult like features" because the founder was a woman, or it seems similar to the Jehovah's witnesses.  But in reality, people are trying to overcome the issues she (the church itself) addressed by catering to their own sin issues at hand (aka. promotion of hating the poor instead of addressing their true needs).  They have basic instinctive "independent baptist" features (which makes them similar to evangelical) but they address issues from a close observational "messianic interpretation" particularly of observing the "seventh day."  Main-stream churches could learn from their teachings to overcome prejudices towards them or basic conservative biblical interpretations.

Look up various ministries on youtube.......and compare.....

Jewish people and close family members by heritage may be in either evangelical and/or messianic groups.  It would depend upon upbringing and internal beliefs.

Should Christians support "gay marriage" like Jews who don't follow New Testament?

First, watch this video.

Second, watch this video.

Third, read these bible verses:
Joh_11:5  Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.

Mar_10:21  Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

Basically, the bible is pointing out the FACT that Jesus was sinless and could LOVE others (male and female) WITHOUT engaging in sexual activity!

In Mark 10:21 he is speaking with a "practical stranger"......so he could show love to a stranger without engaging in any form of sexual activity!  Love is saying yes to Jesus......and no to SIN!

So because Jesus IS Jewish......The people in Israel are mostly more than likely Jewish and Charlie Puth is also Jewish and yet there is something like same sex love and affection "around"....in the social atmosphere.....  should CHRISTIANS (those who practice and follow New Testament principles) cater to same sex marriage?

The answer is basic.  No......BUT they should be aware that JESUS himself practiced same sex love.......but without sinning.  It is similar to being around people who "smoke" but choosing not to smoke.  You don't give the addicted person something to cater to their "sin" / "addiction."  Even those who have been abused in their life need to know someone cares.  The unfortunate thing is that many many many churches which are institutional in nature get confused on this issue simply because they "pay" their pastor.....but the pastor himself (or even herself) has to appease the crowds to get an income.  So they are not appealing to the biblical standards but rather the fleshly standards, via money.

A basic example is simply this.  Yes, we love a friend or relative that has an addiction problem (even infidelity or sex addiction), but we would like to encourage them to CHOOSE JESUS in order to overcome sin.  Perhaps there is a friend that has cancer and we love them, but don't know how to help them in their state of being.  Jesus teaches us how to care.

Would JESUS support "group marriage" if he couldn't practice "gay marriage" due to sin issues?  The answer there is the SAME......Choose JESUS over the life of sin we all face on a regular basis.  The patriarchs of the bible practiced much polygyny and even King David had his day with love this way or that way.  They still had to deal with sin issues.

The unfortunate thing is that we live in this world, but are not of it.  Avoiding all human affection actually goes against the grain of human need for love......even secular concept surrounds us on a regular basis:

Showing signs of caring by study of the scripture and living out the bible is a way to lift another person's burdens.  But CATERING to sin doesn't truly fix this world that we live within.......it just won't truly work.  It is the same as saying NO to a criminal who would rape or even practice sex trafficking.  It doesn't make sense in GOD'S eyes to cater to any man's sin issues under the sun.  If the state itself is saying YES to sin-based-marriages or conditions (that which against scripture) and not separating church and state appropriately, then we who believe will need to follow the path of righteousness despite the errors of men.  A mere certificate is no match for being with him in eternity.

Rather, the hope is to show people that certain patterns in behavior are not contributing to the benefit of "love" for others....but towards selfish ambitions of this world.  Only JESUS would have the ability to overcome sin, to get humanity to heaven......(read the psalms and proverbs carefully and note the behavior patterns).

The unfortunate thing that people mistake is that "gay marriage" will be the solution to problems in humanity????  But people who lie, cheat, steal etc. can be and practice gay marriage just like anyone else.  So ONLY JESUS was sinless.

If you are human you probably love others without sexual activity???  Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins (male and female), basic close friends who are not married to you....... even those who never get married.....on this earth.  Take time out to reflect on the aspects of NATURE itself.  Birds, Fish, and other animals.......teachers that know that sin ruins their innermost being.  Jesus himself referenced the LOVE the heavenly father had for even the Lilly in the ditch.

The bride and the bridegroom......aspect comes from the heavenly father's will..... (song of solomon descriptions)

The purpose behind his love is to show people the way to live and how to get to heaven.  The simple principle of John 3:16.  There is NO GREATER LOVE than that.  John the Baptist didn't cater to a divorce and remarriage....so we who are followers of "the lamb" would be on the same playing field in this world, even if it causes division in family life or even costs us our life.

Thoughts on 4th of July from an "original American"....

I have "original American" heritage.  Sure, I am mostly Norwegian by heritage.  But my mother's side of the family (which is rather large even to the 2nd cousin range.....considering large family size back in the day), has British Isles (Irish/English/Scottish) heritage as well as some Indigenous Native American heritage.  Sure I look like all the rest of the "white people".....but that doesn't mean that I put down the "white side" of me all for the sake of the tragic incidents of the minorities in the USA.

I even hear stories about how the Irish built the railroads and were treated harshly.  Ok.  So that puts a lot of my Irish side under pressure to conform to the "money" as it is.

In reality, I believe we will ALWAYS need religious freedom with a touch of religious respect.  I don't care how may times "man" comes up with a new plan on how to get through this life......sin will ALWAYS find a way to ruin men from within....and then could very well lead to death.

Character is an absolute essential element.  Pride vs. Humility.  Foolishness vs. Wisdom.  We need to take the time to reflect on ways to glorify and reverence our creator......day in and day out.... no matter our heritage or background.

The forth of July should be more about freedom to sense that dignity and value come from the -sermon on the Mt- instead of dictatorial empires that control our ability to have freedom from within.

Yes, America is NOT the kingdom of the LORD.....but we have ACCESS to the kingdom and its rules and orders.  Nature is with us (indigenous people......we and still are a part of American fabric) to find a redeemer to worship and praise.

We can find hope and strength with the access to APPROPRIATE FREEDOM OF SPEECH....

Last Days Mockers.....test the people before trusting....

These questions are based on the "book of Jude"...... sure it looks like these questions are somewhat silly or even extreme in testing someone's tone towards others........but in reality it is showing us that "man" (and even ourselves) cannot be fully trusted, but JESUS alone can and should be trusted....

Mark Yes/No......rate on a scale 1-10 as you would like.  Test for your self and for other person.  Perhaps this could be used in a situation where a couple would like to get married and need to check values?  Perhaps this could be used in a situation where a person is in a persecution area where "conservative Christian ideals" are rejected?  Maybe a church needs an "elder" and they need to know if the person is fit for the job.  Maybe a person needs to determine if they are fully in Christ or not?  Maybe you would like to be a member or participant in a church group....and you need to determine if the members are "godly elders" in the church (go around and ask various 40+ year old males to answer these questions)?

These questions are based upon the book of Jude.  These 40+ questions could CHANGE the function of a church in a major direction.
