Frustrations in the world of music..... Sodom and Gomorrah vs. Jesus

King David played music.  The bible declares it.  In fact, he used music to sooth the mind and emotions of King Saul who brewed MUCH hatred in his heart towards David.  But David did NOT buy into Saul's feelings of hatred.  HE continued to TREAT ugly in the heart Saul with kindness and respect.  Saul is an example of worshiping the "pride" in men rather than the humble adoration of the creator.

Furthermore, David in the bible also had some issues with sin in his heart.  He knew it, and declared it in Psalm 51.  The reason for his sin wasn't because he gave up and said "I am born this way".......no way.  He said "Psa 51:4  Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. "  Essentially he LOST connection with his creator!  That is why he knew he was living in sin.  Some have even gone so far as to say that it was not the sin of being with another man's wife that was the "adultery."  The sin was in HIDING his behavior and MURDERING Bathsheba's husband.  No sin exists unless there are two (or more) people involved.  John the Baptist was murdered by two or more people and it was by the request of a woman who danced.  The sin is in HIDING from the creator and admitting this truth.

If you are talented in any kind of music, whether it is just singing "Over the Rainbow" to your children, or if it is in creating full albums that are for sale to millions, you WILL encounter "Sodom and Gomorrah"...... that is a guarantee.

The reason is because Satan desires WORSHIP!  Yes, worship.  Music is a form of worship.  Beautiful talented singers with wonderful singing voices are "caught," so to speak by "strange women" in Hollywood and beyond.  The men look handsome and healthy and strong.  The women play with the heart of man in these high talented positions......and literally break it.  Jesus himself NEEDED to confront the evils of Capernea.  He stated clearly that they were WORSE than Sodom and Gomorrah, because of their unbelief.

So the only way to confront the evils, is not to give into it.  But to continue with musical talent.  Overcome the evil in their heart with GOOD.  Do not be deceived by others who want you to "bow down" and worship their "Sodom and Gomorrah" lifestyle.  No, fulfill the work that God wants you to do on earth.  STUDY the SCRIPTURE, SHEW thyself APPROVED.

You as a believer can sing secular songs (Song of Solomon is right in the middle of the bible and declares love.....come away with me Lucille).  You can also sing beautiful songs that sooth the soul and are just generally fulfilling the comfort of the general tribe.  You could sing tribal or cultural songs without looking like you love the tribe more than the creator of the tribe.  And in many cases it is absolutely WONDERFUL to sing and know many hymns and praise songs.

Most importantly KNOW the scripture, so you do not get deceived by the ugly pattern of this fallen world.  Such a pattern only leads to much heartache and early death.

PS. Here is a sample of the music I improvise......

OT laws and NT Explanation- Ritual Purity and Impurity

(Christians may do these things in a "spiritual" sense and changing the approach to dealing with justice, but reality is that these laws are for the land of Israel and the times before Christ explained proper Justice and Mercy.)  CHRISTIAN DO meditate on these verses, OLD and NEW.  Gain better ground at the righteousness in Judgement of the Lord.

Ritual Purity and Impurity

  1. That eight species of creeping things defile by contact (Lev. 11:29-30) (affirmative).
  2. That foods become defiled by contact with unclean things (Lev. 11:34) (affirmative).
  3. That anyone who touches the carcass of a beast that died of itself shall be unclean (Lev. 11:39) (affirmative).
  4. That a lying-in woman is unclean like a menstruating woman (in terms of uncleanness) (Lev. 12:2-5) (affirmative).
  5. That a leper is unclean and defiles (Lev. 13:2-46) (affirmative).
  6. That the leper shall be universally recognized as such by the prescribed marks. So too, all other unclean persons should declare themselves as such (Lev. 13:45) (affirmative).
  7. That a leprous garment is unclean and defiles (Lev. 13:47-49) (affirmative).
  8. That a leprous house defiles (Lev. 14:34-46) (affirmative).
  9. That a man, having a running issue, defiles (Lev. 15:1-15) (affirmative).
  10. That the seed of copulation defiles (Lev. 15:16) (affirmative).
  11. That purification from all kinds of defilement shall be effected by immersion in the waters of a mikvah (Lev. 15:16) (affirmative).
  12. That a menstruating woman is unclean and defiles others (Lev. 15:19-24) (affirmative).
  13. That a woman, having a running issue, defiles (Lev. 15:25-27) (affirmative).
  14. To carry out the ordinance of the Red Heifer so that its ashes will always be available (Num. 19:9) (affirmative). See Parah Adumah: Red Heifer.
  15. That a corpse defiles (Num. 19:11-16) (affirmative). See Care for the Dead.
  16. That the waters of separation defile one who is clean, and cleanse the unclean from pollution by a dead body (Num. 19:19-22) (affirmative).

(Lev 11:29)  These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
(Lev 11:30)  And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
(Lev 11:34)  Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
(Lev 11:39)  And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
(Lev 12:2)  Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
(Lev 12:3)  And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
(Lev 12:4)  And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
(Lev 12:5)  But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
(Lev 13:2)  When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:
(Lev 13:3)  And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
(Lev 13:4)  If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:
(Lev 13:5)  And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:
(Lev 13:6)  And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
(Lev 13:7)  But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again:
(Lev 13:8)  And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.
(Lev 13:9)  When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;
(Lev 13:10)  And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;
(Lev 13:11)  It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.
(Lev 13:12)  And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;
(Lev 13:13)  Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
(Lev 13:14)  But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.
(Lev 13:15)  And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.
(Lev 13:16)  Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;
(Lev 13:17)  And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.
(Lev 13:18)  The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,
(Lev 13:19)  And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be shewed to the priest;
(Lev 13:20)  And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.
(Lev 13:21)  But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
(Lev 13:22)  And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.
(Lev 13:23)  But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
(Lev 13:24)  Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;
(Lev 13:25)  Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
(Lev 13:26)  But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
(Lev 13:27)  And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
(Lev 13:28)  And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.
(Lev 13:29)  If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;
(Lev 13:30)  Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.
(Lev 13:31)  And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:
(Lev 13:32)  And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;
(Lev 13:33)  He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:
(Lev 13:34)  And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
(Lev 13:35)  But if the scall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;
(Lev 13:36)  Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.
(Lev 13:37)  But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
(Lev 13:38)  If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;
(Lev 13:39)  Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.
(Lev 13:40)  And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.
(Lev 13:41)  And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.
(Lev 13:42)  And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.
(Lev 13:43)  Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;
(Lev 13:44)  He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.
(Lev 13:45)  And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
(Lev 13:46)  All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.
(Lev 13:47)  The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;
(Lev 13:48)  Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;
(Lev 13:49)  And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:
(Lev 14:34)  When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;
(Lev 14:35)  And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:
(Lev 14:36)  Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:
(Lev 14:37)  And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;
(Lev 14:38)  Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:
(Lev 14:39)  And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;
(Lev 14:40)  Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:
(Lev 14:41)  And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:
(Lev 14:42)  And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house.
(Lev 14:43)  And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;
(Lev 14:44)  Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean.
(Lev 14:45)  And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.
(Lev 14:46)  Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.
(Lev 15:1)  And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,
(Lev 15:2)  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.
(Lev 15:3)  And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
(Lev 15:4)  Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
(Lev 15:5)  And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
(Lev 15:6)  And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
(Lev 15:7)  And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
(Lev 15:8)  And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
(Lev 15:9)  And what saddle soever he rideth upon that hath the issue shall be unclean.
(Lev 15:10)  And whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
(Lev 15:11)  And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
(Lev 15:12)  And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
(Lev 15:13)  And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
(Lev 15:14)  And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
(Lev 15:15)  And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
(Lev 15:16)  And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
(Lev 15:19)  And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
(Lev 15:20)  And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.

(Lev 15:24)  And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.
(Lev 15:25)  And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
(Lev 15:26)  Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
(Lev 15:27)  And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
(Num 19:9)  And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.
(Num 19:11)  He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
(Num 19:12)  He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
(Num 19:13)  Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

(Num 19:20)  But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
(Num 19:21)  And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.
(Num 19:22)  And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.
(Mat 10:8)  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

(Act 11:9)  But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
(Eph 5:26)  That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
(1Jn 1:9)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

A way to rate entertainment choices..... just kind of silly...but consider.

Y = Youth  (a way for the youth to loose their own immagination skills)

G = Godly  (may be has some sensible teaching moments.  May be considered plain-people style information.  Contains hymns and other heavenly musical scores.  Observance of deer in the woods is wonderful reflection of the conditions that happen in nature.)

PG = Portions are not Godly  (simply put, some things are not heavenly.  Somethings are not accurate and/or useful for humanity.)

PG 13 = Portions are not Godly to those under 13 (Maybe it contains bloody scenes.  Maybe it explains some things that happened with David and Bathsheba.  Maybe it is a little off the wall with the dirty chiter chatter)

R = Repent.  Repent. Repent.  Before it is too late.  Way off the wall mocking and inconsiderate behaviour.  Anger without explaination or reason.  DisRespectful nonsense.  Lacks ability to reason.  Perhaps propoganda nonsense.

X = Don't even consider.  You are burned.  Hatefilled.  Hell-promotion.  Stay away.

There's something about Charlie Puth

Now, I know that this particular singer does not sing Christian songs.  (Note: Christians are not always Catholic or Protestant.....they may identify with other social groups like Anabaptist, Messianic, Hebrew Roots, semi-evangelical independent groups or other things)

But he is a public figure so he can serve as an example of what to do and what not to do when dealing with life.

1. He sings love songs.  The Song of Solomon IS a part of the HOLY BIBLE, so to eliminate that part of the bible is to eliminate a part of the human life that our creator wants us to "appreciate."  One particular song which he sings, seems like the story of Ruth and Boaz (One call away)....

2. He has a beautiful singing voice.  If Christians could sing with such passionate love towards each other and towards our creator God, imagine how many people would leave the secular and sensual culture due to the display of godly love, instead of trying to win souls by "condemnation."  Perhaps we should pray for such strength.

3. His mother is Jewish and used her skills as a music teacher/employment to influence her child to such singing skills.  His father was real-estate and a general "white guy" real-estate personality.  Parenting practices "rub off."

4. Some of his songs are appropriate for the general audience.  For persons under 18.  One of his songs is unique in that the unofficial music video includes guys who are "nerdy" looking and don't seem to be noticed by this world.  Charlie actually considered himself a "nerd" in his teenage years.

5. Some of his songs are NOT appropriate for the general audience.  The worship of sexuality, lust and bondage (alcohol addictions, heavy night life, immodesty in women etc) gets more attention than the aspects of love and what it requires, (self-denial, kindness, overcoming personal anger, think about the type of person you are with etc).

6. He is a general likable singer.  He doesn't seem too "full of it" like many pop singers become.  Hence he seems to have eliminated pride and generally admits to his "failures" as he is human.

7. He has spoken or was around people who support "Gay marriage" and things of that nature.  Does that mean that he is vicious about supporting such a thing?  For example, supporting the tearing down of bakery that doesn't cater to certain weddings. I don't know.  What I do know is that his approach to such individuals is not "condemning" and it is also not "catering" for the most part.  Jesus himself, loved those who could not love themselves....... he was around sinners.  Jesus himself also had conditions of "love" that were different from institutional conditions.

8. Jesus was around sinners.  He went to rich famous sinner's homes.  Charlie doesn't seem to be bothered by being around sinners.  Charlie doesn't seem to be bothered if his fans are sinners.  Be like Jesus.  Be like Charlie.

9. He has a scar on his eye brow.  He would not have a "life" had a vicious dog taken full control and a caregiver not given attention to his need for saving from the vicious dog as a young child.  As a teenager he really had a "teenage boy look" and not as much handsomeness.  The scar does not cause him to fear singing.  His teenage look did not cause him to fear appearing before pop-stars and Hollywood gossip.  His scar does not cause him to fear appearing "nice looking" to people.  Don't let your scars wear you down.  Some scars are hidden in the heart.

10. He loves his fans.  Others could be following you......as you are.  Not that he is perfect, but that he chooses to overcome that barrier.

In some ways I can relate to CHarlie: 1. Musical talent.....I have a little bit in the reality that I can play some Rachmaninoff.  2. Computer Nerd..... well yes, I was the back stage tech person and the "help desk" person at college 3. Some middle east culture connections through family.  The personality is unique and determined to success.....

(Why have not I written a lot of this and that about other activities in my life, such as my gardening activities?  sewing activities?  household tasks etc?  answer: because unconditional love for humanity holds more value.....than the everyday mundane.  More than we realize)

Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD. (Lev 22:22)
Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land. (Lev 22:24)
Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you. (Lev 22:25)
When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD. (Lev 22:27)
On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD. (Lev 22:30)
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: (Lev 23:10)

Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD. (Lev 23:17)
And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD. (Lev 23:18)
Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. (Lev 23:19)

Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. (Lev 23:36)
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation. (Lev 27:2)
And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. (Lev 27:3)
And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels. (Lev 27:4)
And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels. (Lev 27:5)
And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. (Lev 27:6)
And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels. (Lev 27:7)
But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him. (Lev 27:8)
He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy. (Lev 27:10)
And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest: (Lev 27:11)
And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be. (Lev 27:12)
But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation. (Lev 27:13)
And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver. (Lev 27:16)
If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand. (Lev 27:17)
But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation. (Lev 27:18)
And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him. (Lev 27:19)
And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more. (Lev 27:20)
But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's. (Lev 27:21)
And if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession; (Lev 27:22)
Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD. (Lev 27:23)
In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong. (Lev 27:24)
Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD'S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD'S. (Lev 27:26)
Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD. (Lev 27:28)
Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty; (Num 5:6)
Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed. (Num 5:7)
Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. (Num 5:15)

And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks: (Deu 12:6)
Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest: (Deu 12:13)
But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee. (Deu 12:14)
Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart. (Deu 12:15)
Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand: (Deu 12:17)
Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose: (Deu 12:26)
Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing. (Deu 14:3)

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (Heb 10:1)
Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; (Heb 10:8)
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. (Rev 2:20)
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Mat 9:13)
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: (1Co 5:7)

Calculate the "day" in the Qumran Calendar.

*This is not edited grammatically, only for presentation of notes

I have not posted a lot since 9-23-2017 astronomy event where the planets aligned as the Rev 12 sign.  However, I do believe it is important to understand the calculation of ancient time as it CAN be converted to modern time.

HOW?

Sun, Moon, Stars are given to us as signs in the heavens.

Clue.

Metonic cycle presents to us the reality that there are 235 synodic months (lunar phases) in a cycle.  This is equivalent to 19 years.  It is easier to break things down by groups of years.

If a person wanted to calculate "time" using the Qumran calendar.  Which it is an extremely orderly calendar and explains WHY there are such things as Jubilees written in the scriptures.  The best solution is to calculate by "days" based on the start of a calendrical cycle.  It is also important to know the condition of the heavens around the time when Christ was on the cross.  I do not claim to know the EXACT day Christ was on the cross, however, there COULD be signs in the heavens which indicate the possible time, as well as historical evidences for such which connect information from the bible to the times of events listed in history.  http://raggedycottagegarden.blogspot.com/2017/04/first-fruits-ad-31-vs-ad-2017.html

Pick a "day."  Call that "DAY 1" in Calendrical cycle 1.  Look up the location of the planets in the heavens (Book: Biblical Heavenly Signs).  Look up the timing of "nature" on the earth.  Barley harvest indicates start of Abib.

The "day" can be organized efficiently and accurately if the "day" is assigned according to the signs in the heavens and the signs in nature.

The moon itself moves in certain patterns along the ecliptic, year after year.

As a result, the Qumran calendar will present the time of the biblical events based on the pattern of the moon from the time of the "full moon" as the start of Abib 1 on Calendar cycle 1, which allows for the New Moon (sun was darkened 6th hour to the 9th hour as Christ was on the cross).

A "day" number may be on day 234 in the Qumran Calendar while it is on day 248-255 in the common modern Jewish calendar.  A 14-21 day difference.  This is due to the condition of the full moon being the start of the month of Abib in calendar cycle 1.

The "day" does not match the "math" of modern Christianity.  The Christianity that celebrates Christmas and Easter (such times are merely celebrations from pagan times before knowledge of the bible presented to the people).  The "day" will be closer to the modern Jewish Hebrew calendar due to its condition of being calculated by the signs of the moon phases.  However, this does not negate any work done by great Christians of the past who were martyred or severely persecuted for the faith, before their knowledge of the Qumran calendar.

The TIME of JESUS BIRTH is indicated CLEARLY by the scriptures : http://www.the13thenumeration.com/Blog13/2012/11/02/the-course-of-abija/

He doesn't need your help......

God's ways are so perfect, you cannot and should not attempt to alter his ways.  His ways are higher than our ways.

He created the eagle to fly in a perfect pattern and build a perfect nest in which to raise its young.  Do you not believe that he alone can also provide for you?

There are men in this world, and women too, who act as if they need "help" but they really do not need our help.

I have seen pictures of children starving in Africa.  I get reminded of how many deaths occurred in historical black-deaths and plagues.

There are times were God doesn't need your help.  There are times where people "pretend" to need your help, but are actually looking for other standards that are not God's standards for you or for themselves.

1. A man asks for your hand in marriage.  This man has been out on the town with other women and you didn't know about it.  He doesn't need your help.  He needs Jesus.

2. A group of girls want you to dress in nicer fancier and shorter skirts to make the football team in town happy.  He (they) don't need your help.  He (they) need Jesus.

3. A man who doesn't follow Jesus in another country and asked for you to get married.  Yes, he is a religious man, a confident man.  You met him online.  He doesn't need your help.  He needs Jesus.

4. A man says he is conservative Christian.  He never really liked history that much.  He avoided the subject of why Christmas and Easter are not mentioned in the bible and never really cared that much about how to treat  a woman or other cultures for that matter.  In fact, woman are always to submit, that's it, nothing else.  He knows hymns from great Christians of the past.  He has to do nothing in his heart.  He doesn't care that the Song of Moses and the Song of Lord is mentioned in Revelation.  He doesn't need your help.  He needs Jesus.

5. A man is asking for money.  You have never personally met him or the people he is helping.  He is supporting orphans and widows.  He is helping storm victims.  He is online.  He is part of a good organization.  Well at least it appears that way. (The red cross only built a few homes with millions of dollars donated).  If he is further than 30 miles away from your home, it is likely you won't know him.  He doesn't need your help.  Well at least a LOT of your help, unless you KNOW background information.  He needs to rely on Jesus and rely on local people, local natural resources for food and clothing.

6. He loves screens.  He loves computers.  He loves everything to do with cars.  He is obsessed with stuff of this world.  He hates visiting his grandmother in the hospital.  He hates visiting his long lost cousin with cancer.  He doesn't need your help.  He needs Jesus.

7. He was an -A- student in the school.  He passed out of college at the age of 16.  He never cared to investigate the origin of "evolution" and its theories.  (It was created by a rich not a humble man).  He loves to know that he can now buy a Ferrari because of his fancy degree and career.  He is looking forward to having one or more wives.  He doesn't need your help.  He needs Jesus.

8. His mother will not help him understand the important message of hard-work, getting things done for others and prayer.  His mother wants him to be a partier, a drinker and a lazy man like all the rest of them.  He doesn't need your help.  He needs Jesus.

******************

Here is a man that needs your help.

He was persecuted.

He was an outcast.

He was a student of the most high as well as a student at Harvard.

He wept over his lost sister living in sin.

He stood on the podium and stood for the right way to treat the tribes.

He allowed a sinfilled woman who left her lifestyle start up a small business.

He never picked up a gun to fight in a war, because he knew the war we face is in the spirit.

He was gossiped about in his local community and they hated his opinions in the local newspaper.

He was filled with flavor and didn't try to blend in with the sheep.  He knew who he was created to be.  What he was created to do.

He left his computer at the desk of a disabled woman who had difficulty speaking.

He didn't ask for money, when he became friends with the poor, fatherless, widows.  He just wanted to be their friend.

He lived in a state of survival.  Living off of the things in the wild.  He knows what berries in the forest are edible and which ones are not.  He is willing to point this out to EvE.

Now if you KNOW the scripture, and know it well, you will become like this man whom you should HELP!!!
