Definitions for Biblical Accountability

Definitions (For social, emotional and spiritual protection according to scripture and for this/any group).  These definitions do NOT change with time since Christ on the cross and changes in technology.  Use of a KJV bible wording and story line applies to these definitions (references not always given in these definitions).  Hebrew language and conditions of nature in Israel/ among people should also work with these definitions:

"age of accountability" - Age when a child is counted as a man/woman among an assembly. About age 12/13 Bat/Bar Mitzvah if a person participates.  Minion is ten men and creates a synagogue.  A male child becomes a "man" when he is counted in the minion.  12 disciples all were men and were not in the child stage.

"flower of her age" - Age where menstrual cycle begins.  Conception of children is possible.  Mary the mother of Jesus was a virgin and unmarried.  She reached the "flower of her age."  More than likely between "age of accountability" and "age of strength"

"age of strength" - About the age 20 for a man or woman.  Certain rules were given to men where they are physically numbered in Israel.  Males of 20 years old are able to go to war. Men who went to war were to apply himself to "take a beautiful woman" in an appropriate manner.  (war-time and online interactions distract young men to this day)

"age of mental stability" - Levites were counted.  Age where a physical person reaches mental capacity. (Most people attain all PhD requirements by age of 25)

"age of spiritual fullness" - age when a man could do the full work of the burden  in the tabernacle of the congregation.  About age 30.  Jesus achieved age of spiritual fullness, but couldn't achieve full "age of service" because of the burden of sin he took up the cross.

"age of service" - age when a man can do full work of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation. Between the age of 30-50 years.

"elder" - man who is older than Jesus was when he gave his life on the cross.  Preferably he has achieved a full "age of service".  Often he is at least 40 years of age or older.  This is a man who has wisdom.  Leaders in a congregation should be at "age of service" or "elder" stage of life and above.

"child" - human being that was born from a woman and exists(ed) on earth under 12 years of age.  A child may be a "man child" or a "maid child" at birth.  "Man child" may be circumcised.  "Maid child" are not circumcised, but the mother of the "maid child" needs extra days of purification.

"man" - Not a child. Human being that is not capable of carrying a child in the womb at any time in life, based upon gender given at birth or conception.  Could have the ability to impregnate a woman.

"woman" - Not a child. Human being that goes through monthly cycles in the "flower of her age." Based upon gender given at birth or conception.  Could have the ability to bear a child in her womb.

"masculine traits" - Of and pertaining to having masculine characteristics.  Often most likely to be in positions of leadership, priestly or intellectually gifted positions.  Ownership and territorial claims are most likely to be found.  Protection of vulnerable individuals.  Establishment of proper means of Justice (Jesus showed the way).  Women have taken on "masculine traits" in the bible when men failed to do so.

"feminine traits" - Of and pertaining to having feminine characteristics.  Often most likely to be in positions of the home, compassion, service or nurturing positions.  Giving and taking care of needs to keep life alive and afloat are to be found.  Surrendering to ways and conditions of tribe and nature. Giving up of one's self (Jesus gave his life for all).  Men have taken on "feminine traits" in the bible when women were not physically capable of doing so.

"adulterous man/woman" - Individual who practices sexuality outside of accountability to vulnerable people or confines of a marriage.  The person often doesn't see marriage as honorable.  A man or a woman is accountable for acts of fornication.  Eli's children is an example.  (Modern conditions - Teenage/young-adult persons are accountable for these acts.  Online interactions are accountable for these acts. Open marriage is accountable for these acts.)

"brotherly love" - Concerns with strength of those with the same gender.  Person may be related, non-related, disabled, same or different conditions in life.  Concern and care for those who are men or male children and practice masculine things, by those who are female or male.

"sisterly love" - Concerns with strength of those with the same gender.  Person may be related, non-related, disabled, same or different conditions in life.  Concern and care for those who are female and practice feminine things, by those who are male or female.

"incest" - Persons defined in the Law as having sexual relationships with each other when they are closely related or in close domestic conditions.

"cousin marriage" - the founding fathers of Israel practiced cousin marriage.  Laban was Jacob's uncle while Leah and Rachel were Jacob's first cousin.  People in some areas of the Levant practice cousin marriage to this day due to culture practices.  Cousin marriage commonly, but not always, presents biological problems in conception of children by doubling the chances that a child conceived will have deformities.  Risks for biological problems are reduced significantly when marriage takes place past 5th cousin range.

"biologically sound marriage" - A marriage where risks of conceiving a child in a challenging way or deformed way are not as high.  Cousin marriage, alcoholic/drug related, previous biological issues would not occur in this marriage.  Law-less marriages are not usually biologically sound.  John the Baptist confronted a divorce and remarriage.  Good health and social life is encouraged in this marriage.

"close knit community" - People may come from similar backgrounds and beliefs.  People in the community may have similar heritage but not always.  People often interact face to face (not only online) and are not fearful of language, belief or culture differences.

"age gap marriage" - marriage in which a man or woman has significant age difference.  Typically one achieved "age of accountability" and became a man or woman well before the other spouse.  The man or woman could be significantly older.  A person in the marriage who has not achieved the "age of strength" could be a victim unless appropriate standards of accountability in the older spouse are in place. (ie. a 28 year old man who wants to marry a 16 year old needs to prove he is accountable to the marriage and not just interested in folly)

"marriage" - a marriage by biblical standards needs to have one man and one woman for it to be a marriage that is lawfully sound.  This is referenced as a bride and a bridegroom in various verses in the bible.  Marriage is to be honored.  This means that some people marry people who are "non-believers" or have issues from time to time because they didn't come to full-faith before marriage.  The holiness of Christ is to take priority to the marriage itself in the cases where a person married an unsaved or wicked person.

"divorce and remarriage" - Finding a new spouse in the case where the "first love" didn't seem to work out very well.  Christian teachings differ on this issue.  Some say if the first spouse was extremely abusive or the first love was found "under age of strength or mental stability" then it is OK to remarry after a divorce and it would not be wrong.  Some Christians teach that a person who is in a state of remarriage and the first spouse is still alive should return to the "first love" if at all possible.  Repenting of adultery is a necessity when working with those who commit to marriage in cases of infidelity promotion and they claim Christian/biblical teachings.

"no kissing before ceremony" - a person who commits to only kiss or touch their spouse when they reach the marriage alter.  They usually have "chemistry", they may side hug and they may hold hands a little bit before the ceremony.  In Jewish culture and traditions, this means that a ceremony takes place and then the couple kiss "behind a curtain."  The couple may have had experience before with another person sexually in Jewish culture, but they repent of those practices before time of marriage and commit to their spouse.  Christian practices often involve purity teachings and a short betrothal that encourages marriage within 3 to 6 months after "God Signs" and engagement.

"covenant" - supernatural promise established by higher power.  Impossible to reverse after it is established.

"marriage certificate" - a piece of paper that says that a couple are married.  In the case where worldly governments who are not governed by biblical principles rule, they may adjust standards to suit their own understanding of how to live in the state in a way that it feels is best.  Ungodly, worldly, wicked people get married just as easily and use marriage certificates like anyone else.  Godly couples may choose to use state created certificates or not.

"marriage ceremony" - A visible and verbal recognition of a love commitment between two people.  Ceremony can be mellow or it can be driven by lots of party and dancing.  Jesus turned water into wine at a marriage ceremony and was committed to making sure the guests enjoyed the ceremony.  Godly marriage ceremony are based upon biblical standards.  Ungodly marriage ceremony are based upon non-biblical standards and mocking such conditions.  Ungodly governments forbid marriage between certain individuals in certain ways and especially forbid godly/biblical based marriages.

"unmarried person" - an individual who did not have a marriage ceremony. an individual who once had a marriage ceremony but the person to whom they were committed left the marriage, divorced or died. The unmarried person may be content in their condition or they may not.  They may have had a previous relationship or they may not.  Paul says it is better to remain in a state of being unmarried in the wicked world.  Unmarried people are more capable of pleasing the Lord, if they are truly born again believers and students of the word.

"time life begins" - time life begins is in the womb when a conception has taken place.  Full DNA code is given at conception.  Jesus received all ancestry at conception as he was of the house of David.  Women who are aware of sin and seek to fulfill God's ways will "choose life" for all conceptions in the womb.  Men who are aware of sin and seek to fulfill God's ways will "choose life" by avoiding relationship with a woman who purposefully believes in stopping life in the womb for any reason.  People who practice sexual impurity and promote it, often try to "redefine" the time life begins.

"untimely birth" - conception that did not go according to a natural 9 month pregnancy (or age of survivability at a little past 20 weeks since conception).  Woman did not attempt to stop the pregnancy in any way.  No herbal means were used to slow the pregnancy. (Herbal remedies have been here since the time of creation).  Sometimes herbal remedies are used to aide women in distressing pregnancy situations.

"one-week old / following birth" - coordinating with life in a way that sustains the life of a man child or a maid child.  A suckling child that survives past one week of age, is a child that could make it into adulthood.  It is not considered murder if a parent cannot sustain the life of the child who doesn't survive life outside the womb under one week of age if given financial or health circumstances are not available.  Medically speaking these children could either be still-born or a case of SIDS occurred.  A child that breathes and has a heart beat needs equal opportunity to "choose life."  No vaccines are needed for the under one week old child as this is medical propaganda as this takes away from the immune system strength given by creator.

"child like" - Having a cute demeanor that is funny, approachable, laughable, curious about things of this world.  Relaxed and trusting in the creator to sustain life.

"childish" - Having a foolish, folly driven, immature behavior or attitude about things of this world.  Failing to take responsibility for actions.  Many people who want to mis-inform or change definitions to suit their sin are childish, even if they are intellectually gifted and of full age.  Professional people who fully believe in their political or social standard can be childish.

"knowledge" - Awareness of the world around a person.  These things may be tested by "knowledge tests."  Often associated with IQ ratings and gifts in college level or skill. Knowledge itself doesn't mean a person is morally good or believes in redemption in an appropriate manner.  Social patterns may not be biblical based patterns of social interaction (including marriage and family choices).  Gaining knowledge is useful in overcoming evil, but a person doesn't need to or shouldn't want to be "puffed up" about things to follow Jesus.  Knowledge of scripture, its meaning and purpose is essential for faith.

"wisdom" - experience that teaches a man or woman to discern good from evil.  A person with wisdom may or may not have knowledge.  Wisdom is mainly based on experience, listening to other people who went through something or considering failures of humanity and what to do about those failures.  People in different cultures have different sorts of wisdom to retain tribal dignity.

"fool" -disengages from the reality and may claim that no man or woman raised him or her from childhood on up to adulthood.  There were other people around that sustained human life under proper moral conditions.  Disengages from conditions of nature that prove that men cannot create all things in the way men want to create things. Often associated with those who say there is no God. (ie. squirrels gather nuts in the fall and men didn't tell the squirrels how to do this.)

"wicked" - often found in people who are unsaved.  Anger is often found in such persons.  They may claim they believe in a higher deity,  JESUS/YESHUA or even make claim to a Yahweist movement, but the actions in the private life prove they do not CARE about others to whom they are accountable, to God's word, to community faith values or to general standards of living for eternity. Judas Iscariot was a wicked man.  (many times people in this condition are in a state of mental illnesses or addiction patterns.  They may even be engaged in terrorism and/or racist supremacy.  They are still in bondage.)

"temptation" - outside person or internal struggle with "choice" comes upon a person.  Judas was tempted and he gave into his wicked heart.  He sought to overpower good with evil.  Jesus was tempted in the wilderness.  He was not around anyone when he was tempted.  He fully overcame evil of this world with good.  (Modern Day: Online interactions are equally accountable to temptations.  Time and energy a person puts into different things applies to this life.  Time is valuable resource among people we value.)

"Yahweyist movement" - A way in which people believe that by saying the name "yahwey" they are fulfilling biblical doctrines and commands.  It is wrong to say JESUS in their movement, but it could be wrong to choose life or to choose marriage when a person is at age of accountability.  They do not apply the "born again" belief and may ask that people get baptized again in the name of "yeshua/Yahwey." They may ask people to be "judaized" without actual study of bible and Jewish culture. Note: This is not the same as Hebrew Roots and messianic movement as it holds more "Judaizing" practices and doesn't show that the people should be accountable for actions.  They may "put you out" of their assembly or practice "false accusation" if you don't apply their rules.

"Hebrew Roots Movement" - Applying early Christian teaching and practices in a Jewish culture sort of way.  People may say Yahwey or not in this movement.  People may pick up on Hebrew words and phrases in this movement.

"Messianic Movement" - Jewish people who believe in Old Testament and New Testament.  They retain many original Jewish culture practices that are neutral in application of the New Testament.    Non-Jewish people who believe in Old and New Testament.  They apply Baptist or Anabaptist teachings to Old Testament culture and traditions putting away pagan-style rituals and routines.  People in Messianic Movement should show good fruits of being born again and having changed heart.  God's laws are important part of Messianic belief.

"Creed based Christianity" - various statements by men that summarized the Christian faith into key elements of the faith by a "creed".  These creeds are neither positive or negative in the Christian faith, but many non-resistant born again faith groups do not necessarily apply these creeds because of their repetitive nature without heart change.  Apostle's creed, Nicene Creed, Chalcedonian Creed, Athenasian creed....all before protestant era.   Catechism and the statements within the catechisms (based on protestant denomination) are associated with the protestant era often encourage followers to study and confess these creeds.

"modesty" - an action of choice that begins in the heart.  Clothing can (and in some cases should) be associated with modesty, but it actually begins with desire to promote inward heart change instead of just outward appearances.

"Mercy" - Seeing that these definitions may need tweeks and adjustments from time to time and from situation to situation and choosing the HOLY SPIRIT (comforter) to lead and convict on these matters.  Choosing to adjust understanding according to, not against scripture based reasoning.  Pointing to THE CROSS and his redemption.
