HOWEVER,
Many have interpreted Christianity and the BIBLE as if we can somehow eliminate the "indigenous" nature of Jesus and the people in the beginning of the bible.
I don't believe the Jewish people actually learned and spoke the Hebrew language until around the time of Joseph.
Do some research on the subject.
Anyhow.
The Christian's FAVORITE book of the bible should be the book of Leviticus!
WHAT@!!!!@!..... but that is a book filled with LAWS! URGH..... you legalistic you. ARGH!
YES.
The book of Leviticus.
Why?
Well, it speaks heavily of the conditions required to allow humanity to THRIVE in life, instead of get by with various sins.
It speaks about how to help the poor.
It speaks about how to relate in the domestic life of how to relate to those to whom you are related (sorry Kissing cousins.....)
It speaks about pure behaviors of the person.
It speaks about not holding hatred in your heart!
Really, it speaks about how JESUS was the PERFECT MAN!
In the Jewish laws, one will find that nearly EVERY sub-section of the law touches into the book of LEVITICUS! The ones that don't reference LEVITICUS are likely to reference DEUTERONOMY.
Because of this, the book's NECESSITY and UNDERSTANDING is encompassing the complete person of JESUS.
So if you really want to be a REAL CHRISTIAN....... the CHRISTIAN's favorite book of the bible would be.........drum roll......... LEVITICUS!
All the other books of the bible reflect from the matters and law subjects found in the book of Leviticus...... does that mean the people of the LEVANT are suppose to do something with this book?????? Well, maybe so. Abraham was a man from the "Levant" don't you know.
Really now, the "not holding hatred in one's heart"...... is that such a terrible legalistic sounding law?????? (Lev. 19:17)
