Christian Liberty: Independent Income or Frugal Advantages (2)

In order to increase financially, it may require a few extra skills.  Does this mean post-secondary education is the answer?  NO!  You may find other ways to gain more skills!

One of the best things to think about when it comes to gaining more skills is to look at what you have been given to use:

Think about any of the following:

Strength - Do you have a lot of strength?  Some athletes make money, but what about using strength to become a carpenter.  Strong people are needed to lift heavy furniture.  Some people like to use their strength to develop off-the-grid lifestyles and doing things by hand.

Knowledge - Do you have a higher IQ?  Knowledge and wisdom come easy for you, then seek ways to build the kingdom for "righteousness sake."  Some people freely write books that enhance knowledge of God's word and conditions of humanity or nature.  One individual was able to research the different cultures around the world to present a neutral diagram of how humanity shifts and changes demographically.

Hands - Handy crafts, creating things that are needed every day.  Learn how to do these things by reading the right books.

Eyes - Seek how to "look for" certain important details in this life.  Maybe learn some skills in how to paint greeting cards, engagement announcements or other special decorative aparal.  Some have the skills to design buildings, interior design and so forth.  Fashion design for modest or recycled clothing.  A person doesn't necessarily need to go to a college to gain these skills.

Ears - Do you have the gift of musical talent?  Maybe you could write a few motivational songs.  With computer and internet technology it is easier than ever to produce a "CD" or musical score.  Maybe you have the gift of knowing things about ornithology.   Once again, a person doesn't have to pay a large sum of money to gain skills in these areas.

Nose - Cooking?  Scented items?  Aroma therapy.  Go ahead and study how to make people feel comfortable around wonderful scents.

Taste - Cooking?  Healthy eating.  Serving others in need who are in need of a good meal.  Maybe you know some things about herbal medicine and can "taste" what types of things will work as a cure.

Healing - There is a way to learn modern medicine without need to learn about big-pharmacy items.  Simply pick up the right books that teach things such as herbal healing, nutrition therapy, exercises that build strength in the heart and more.

Anyhow, just think about various skills you may develop which can serve humanity.  It could be anything from developing an upholstery business, to sewing winter coats for the season, recycling milk-jugs into something better or teaching some piano skills to local residents.  What ever the case, it doesn't always require many years of education to build skills or talents, it simply takes determination to do something that will serve humanity.  Furthermore, a person can develop a "sales book" or "order sheet" for local residents to see what types of things you offer.  A list or book could include baskets, household items, baked goods, cleaning services, remedy sessions, lessons and more that you have for sale.  Don't have too many things and such a wide variety that people are confused about what you can truly handle as a service or item for sale, but think about making sure you can do a good job with your item or service. If the service is playing piano for weddings, then make sure you "sound" better than the rest of the people who may attend this wedding.

A person may also develop a way to make a "continual income."  That means that income can come to you without having to continuously advertise your product on a regular basis.  If you can write a book, that is a bonus, because it allows you to have your own publication for sale and people will buy it on a regular basis.  Internet methods of income are not always the wisest ways to gain further income, because the internet companies like to manipulate things in political ways to steer audiences away from your services if they don't like your political views or how you handle your website, so steer clear of relying on internet advertisement for income.  Only use internet websites to list or describe your services for the best results.  Another type of "continual income" is making and selling music CD's, speaking CD's, special pay-as-you-need-it .pdf files, special graphics files and more.  Of course, many of the extremely wealthy musicians and artists have a special contract which allows them to "goof off" while the people who they have the contract with, do all the advertisement and production work.

Furthermore, to increase sales possibilities, think about selling at flea markets, online markets, set up a special "lesson session" at a college or other location to encourage people to buy your products and services.  Learn how to increase sales by studying marketing, taking special classes and other reading sales books.
