Old Testament Laws and NT explanation - Ag/animals

(Christians may do these things in a "spiritual" sense and changing the approach to dealing with justice, but reality is that these laws are for the land of Israel and the times before Christ explained proper Justice and Mercy.)  CHRISTIAN DO meditate on these verses, OLD and NEW.  Gain better ground at the righteousness in Judgement of the Lord.

Agriculture and Animal Husbandry

  1. Not to cross-breed cattle of different species (Lev. 19:19) (according to the Talmud, this also applies to birds) (CCN142).
  2. Not to sow different kinds of seed together in one field (Lev. 19:19) (CCN107).
  3. Not to eat the fruit of a tree for three years from the time it was planted (Lev. 19:23) (CCN105). See Tu B'Shevat.
  4. That the fruit of fruit-bearing trees in the fourth year of their planting shall be sacred like the second tithe and eaten in Jerusalem (Lev. 19:24) (affirmative) (CCI16). See Tu B'Shevat.
  5. Not to sow grain or herbs in a vineyard (Deut. 22:9) (negative).
  6. Not to eat the produce of diverse seeds sown in a vineyard (Deut. 22:9) (negative).
  7. Not to work with beasts of different species, yoked together (Deut. 22:10) (CCN180).
Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee. (Lev 19:19)

And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of. (Lev 19:23)

But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal. (Lev 19:24)

Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled. (Deu 22:9)

Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together. (Deu 22:10)

But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: (Mat 22:5)

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. (Mat 20:1)

Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: (Mat 21:33)

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. (1Co 3:2)

Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. (1Co 8:13)
