This MAY be a lingering question that remains for a LONG time.
Patriarchal behaviors and conditions have been here since the time of Adam and Eve. NO generation can claim that they are FREE from the condition of having a Biological Father. NONE.
In the USA, the possibility of supporting PATRICARCHY isn't necessarily bad, in fact, its ACTUALLY GOOD - > Prager U did a piece on HOW fathers prevent their sons from getting into trouble.
The problem is this: sometimes FATHERS allow their children to LIVE in SIN.
Jesus said to those who are of the ancestry of Abraham.... Their ANCESTRY does NOT protect them from DOING bad things: Joh_8:37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you., ; Joh_8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. ; Joh_8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
Does this make JESUS himself anti-Semitic FOR addressing these things? NO! He is pointing out that THEIR roots do NOT allow them to be free from SIN.....even while under ROMAN OPPRESSION!
Patriarchal cults are just that: BELIEF that a person can automatically free him (or her) self from sin by just BEING good on the outside, but without ADDRESSING issues from the INSIDE....without actually LISTENING to THY NEIGHBOR! This can be DANGEROUS and DISTRESSING! Refugees are still on this planet! The poor are still on this planet! People of Jewish and non-Jewish ancestry are on this planet (both connected to Religious Jewish conditions and indirectly connected!)
Off an on a person can listen to stories from ISRAEL in the modern era. YES, occasionally the LARGE ULTRA ORTHODOX Family will have a MALE in the household who doesn't KEEP CLEAN in behaviour towards others! Hence, the lesson is simple: SIN .... is in the HEART...... it is NOT based on GENDER...... or ETHNICITY.
If LARGE ULTRA ORTHODOX family could end up with these issues.....so too can Christian or Muslim family! Modesty or not as strict of conditions!
Biblical Conservative Christianity on the other hand says, I am GOING to keep SUPPORT GOING for "my son" even though he did x y and z. The age of the son could be ANY age, really. 5 to 105. YES, a 85 year old is STILL a child in God's eyes..... and COULD turn to the TRUE redeemer at ANY AGE! It really doesn't find hope IN the biological father's position on this planet. RATHER it finds hope in the HEAVENLY FATHER's position about how to redeem humanity on this planet. Lesson learned: Queen Esther did NOT have her biological father to consult. She had to rely on the HEAVENLY FATHER for support measures! That is Biblical Conservative Christianity.
