Yes, according to the scripture and to the REAL conditions of the JEWISH people.
Lets just say a person is from Japan. He NEVER had ancestors that had darker tones within the last 1000 years. He NEVER had ancestors that were more European or Northern European within the last 1000 years. More than likely his ancestors practiced some form of Buddhism.
Now here is the element of CHANGE in the heart. JESUS himself had ancestry from Shem (majority listed) and ALSO HAM if you consider both WISELY and scripture details along with considerable arguments of Judaism as it is and has been since ancient days.
Consider WISELY that the continent "Africa" is NOT listed in the scripture..... neither is the river "Nile"..... these words are NOT listed in the SCRIPTURE! Yes, you heard that right. But Egypt IS listed....and CLEARLY Egyptians exist to this day.....
There IS a reason these words are NOT listed. It is ENTIRELY because man is BUILT for reason.....but men lie to themselves thinking that they do NOT need a creator, redeemer, saviour...... especially considering BIG events from history like "the passover"

Go back to the person from Japan.....argument. WW2 has already passed....and we are now in the year 2021. Surely people should get racial things figured out by now. But people are FOOLED.....just as they were in the ancient days. Also considerable argument about the HEBREWS that came out of Egypt were of BLACK features people. The fact remains that ETHIOPIANS, to this day, remain in Black appearance. Jesus' ancestry included people who are NOT listed in full ancestry background. What we CAN venture to guess is that the "ashkinazi Jewish" people were around during the time of JESUS. Why? Now think about KING DAVID. WHY in the WORLD would GOD list JESUS as coming from KING DAVID. How many years gap was that? A bible history timeline says King David existed in the year 1024 BC.... that is about a 1055 year GAP between point A and point B. WOW! JESUS ancestry 23 and me chart is WAY more accurate than the modern day charts! The bible ALSO says that ABSOLOM had "handsome flawless features".....so there was a sort of CELEB looking thing going on there!
King David.......could have had Ashkinazi Jewish features.....or did the Ashkinazi Jewish people come some time around the time of Maccabees and temple destruction? He definitely had ancestry from HAM.....through ABRAHAM.....in ARPHAXAD.... He definitely definitely had ancestry from Shem through ABRAHAM.... 2054 BC to 1024 BC.....is about the years of gap between ABE offering ISSAC to King David killing Goliath. That is a 1030 year GAP! Not even the modern day ancestry tests can OFFER that kind of detailed revelations about "why" Goliath had such height on this earth! ONE DROP is ONE DROP......of WISDOM!

If GOD himself knows EVERY ONE DROP in your family tree.......he knows every one hair on your head...and the number of hairs....he can DEFINITELY apply "one drop" rule to YOU and your family tree conditions!
HIS one-drop rule is WAY more detailed than even a CELEB PROFILE and how much THEY are scrutinized! YES, sometimes CELEBS do those ANCESTRY 23 and me charts...and come out churning some "neaderthal DNA"...... but I'm like......real people in REAL families.....do exist!
If three cousins of yours.....and you KNOW they ARE your cousins....have x y and z on THEIR charts..... then a. there IS a significant social connection (aka your Mother or Father's aunt, great aunt or personal significant person) b. there IS possibility that YOU may have the particular feature as well..... passed on in various ways through some siblings this or that way....sometimes it shows UP on modern day ancestry charts... sometimes it does not.... (like those things were 1% or less ancestry comes and goes....depending on the trail and type of test taken)....
Basically, its MORE than JUST one-drop.....there ARE needed FAMILY CONNECTIONS and considerations!!!!!
GOD himself wrote down variations in SOCIAL FAMILY TIES for a REASON! Listing certain people as AUNT......COUSIN......SIBLING...... etc etc....
Celebs.......sure they have their OWN personal.....story....but in reality.....it is MORE than just something "big brother"......needs to OVERSHADOW....because MEMORIES are REAL....and history events are REAL too! (if you don't have "dementia" then you remember interacting with so and so in the FAMILY TREE chart).....
Its like REMEMBERING a WEDDING>>>>>>>>>> and GOD saw ALL the hairs on ALL the wedding GUESTS......heads (HE knew the FULL STORY behind all the GUESTS....just as he KNEW all the story line behind KING DAVID!!!).....HE....alone KNEW.....who was there!
