Set more goals.....instead of an instantaneous resolution.....

Life comes and goes in a FLASH.  Our ideas on how to handle things could change in an INSTANT.

Perhaps it is better to set various goals.....and then set the timer to allow yourself to accomplish those things.

Here are a variety of goals a person may have:

1. Read one book a week

2. Visit relatives personally, not through internet connections.

3. Take care of the needy people in your area (visit, coffee, tea, share a few conversations etc.)

4. Meditate on bible at a better hour of the day.  Accomplish a certain number of chapters in a week.  Spread the full reading out in 15 minute sessions throughout the day (morning, noon, family time and night)
*Possible Practice: 5 Psalms and 1 proverb based on the day of the month (use as a devotional)
1 chapter in "law portion" based on parashah reading
2-3 chapters in Old Testament passages
                                       1 chapter in "gospel" portion
1-2 chapters in New Testament portion.
*Possible activities: Write down the verses.  Use the topics to teach/home-education.  Share verses with other via media outlets or gospel tract style......

5. Sew more clothing instead of buying new. (saves stress on trading with foreign labor costs!!)

6. Give to more charities.

7. Make more money by doing xyz.

8. Start a small business.

9. Grow a complete garden.

10. Bake more bread.

11. Keep vehicles clean and up-to-date on paperwork, repairs

12. Spring clean one thing each week (less stress during actual spring cleaning season).

13. Look for more frugal options when doing xyz.

14. Learn about survival cooking and wild-edible foods.

15. Spend more time outside instead of in front of screens.

16. Have children go to the park more often.

17. Help children do more chores and keep up with their personal things (grooming, tidiness, basic skills etc.)

18. Go to more places with educational content (parks, museums, physical fitness, piano practice etc.)

19. Encourage children to build more positive friendships.

20. Take the courage to say how much you care about someone more......

etc etc.

Yes, and the fitness routines may be a resolution too.....
