Norway vs. USA......

So I am part "Norwegian" as is my husband......

But I have "family" and my husband has "family" and we in USA are already "multi-cultural" in a sense.

A family in the USA may look something like this, with some in the family having "melting pot" heritage.  Some KNOW their heritage fairly well (like the Irish clans....but some do not know):

The indigenous native american tribes had to deal with the "rape problems" of immigrants!  Yes, study the "boarding school era" and other issues at stake (the religious assumption was that it is ok to disrespect based on religious values).  The indigenous native american knows things and the Middle Eastern Folks know things too...... which why I have to shake my head if the people -WANT- immigrants but they don't want the immigrant to "behave" or to be checked in their character.

Furthermore, child-marriages and/or incest marriages have been a problem from time to time even among some Christian groups......BUT with EDUCATION, these things do cease to continue to occur (be ye thankful for the book of Leviticus folks).

I cannot say much about the polygyny issue in cultures.....as there were problems with "white man" attacking indigenous tribes over that issue.
