In our home, I have divided the tasks up into several different days so that I don't have to do a massive cleaning on one day of the week.
Here is our sample schedule:
MONDAY
Dusting, Appliances, Screens and Mirrors, Pick up from Weekend, Laundry
TUESDAY
Surfaces, Sinks, Change Trash, Folding & Put Away, Shopping
WEDNESDAY
Toilet, Tub, Shower, Sewing, Mending Projects
THURSDAY
Sweep, Mop, Vacuum, Organize, "spring clean list", Finance, Paperwork
FRIDAY
Change Trashes, Baking
