(This was written in November, it is now January and negative degrees)



It snowed here yesterday and the kids were happy. I also like a little snow especially when it comes in November. However, I found out that I really wasn't as prepared for it as I thought. We were going to go out for a little pizza run and it turned out that I couldn't locate the ice scraper. Ahh!!....It was dark and I know we had an ice scraper at one time. That is just a sign that I really need to clean out my car.

So what did we do in the snow? We walked around a bit. My oldest made paths. They played a little snow ball. Went to the park and such. The wind was nibbly so I didn't want to stay outside as long as if I had been wearing my scarf.

His enemies will I clothe with shame.....

Have you encountered an enemy that seems to dislike you no matter how hard you try? May be they were once your friend and close companion, maybe they could have been your own parents, maybe it was the government who mistreated you, perhaps it was even a church you once attended. Guess what that person or group is an enemy of you and more than likely also an enemy of God.

We can trust in his word we can trust in his promise. He clearly says, "His enemies will I clothe with shame, but upon himself shall his crown flourish." God created ALL people starting with Adam and then through the generations after that. We don't need special science tricks to determine our origin because God created the world in seven days. We can even see the pattern of SEVEN written in Mother nature.

So when that enemy comes along and wants to strike you gone, dead or non-existant from his or her life. We can stand strong in his promise. His enemies are your enemies. God cares for you and he wants YOU to be in heaven with him. Christ's crown will flourish forever and ever and ever. I can have joy when these ugly enemies come my way. They don't care about anyone. They don't care about themselves more than likely. They probably don't like God's ways and his plan for salvation.

We can repent and follow all of his promises. It is a joy to know that there is something wonderful and eternal to depend on. All other else will fail and pass away. All of it. None of it will remain in eternity except through Christ. Amen and Amen.

How do I know these things are true? I have been down the beaten path. I have been through the depression realm. I have seen the muck of druggy lifestyle. I have encountered the pain of fornicators. I know. Christ is true. Christ is forever and eternal. He is the vine and our life does not exist except we depend on him.

Gathering of Believers: Gathering 1

Before Beginning: This is an outline for a home-church service.  Feel free to use it as you wish.  Encourage other local neighbors and friends to join you and have a fellowship meal following or between services.  Before beginning, ensure that all members of the household are dressed and prepared as if a "king" was going to enter your home, simply to show respect unto our Lord and Savior.  Women dress modestly, head covered and feminine.  Men dressed in clean and neat attire.  This church service is designed for those who are persecuted, do not feel the moral conditions of the local churches are scriptural, disabled, isolated, large family, work obligations, slavery, maternity conditions and any other interested persons may listen and participate in the service.  We encourage you to hold a family integrated service and not to segregate based on age, race or former religious convictions.  To accommodate singles and provide a singing atmosphere, you may separate males and females.  I encourage both husband and wife to participate in this service to create relationship rather than religion.  If fellowship with other believers is not available through this service, I encourage you to visit a local independent bible believing congregation as you are able.

If you would like you may add candles, communion or other elements or nothing at all in a plain space.  It is up to you to decorate or not decorate.  It is up to the individual church body to acknowledge deacons, pastor, speaker, elders and other leaders as well as level of discipline.

If some of sounds or videos do not work you may read those portions OUT-LOUD if they are accessible.  This service is in English and only uses KJV of the bible for scriptural reference.  All portions of scripture are chosen at random (to recognize that all people have "no knowledge" and need further study of scripture) except on biblical acknowledged holidays.  The more you, the visitor, participates and focuses in the service, the more enjoyable it will be.  The more mere observation and alternative attention or scorn, you the visitor, participates in, the less satisfying it will become.

This service is LONGER than the usual one-hour service (four or more hours) to acknowledge greater need to understand scripture.  You may use this service on any day of the week as you would like. Dates are not of importance, rather study of scripture is important.

The Sermon and links to outside reference may or may not coordinate with scripture.  The speaker may or may not have hidden sins like child-perversions, adultery, profanity, plagiarism, spiritual abuse and so on.  If I don't know them face to face on a regular basis I cannot judge this for you.  I may or may not agree with all information presented by speaker.  Please use for your information only.

Bring up baby on a dime

Here are some ideas to save you thousands, hundreds and even more when bringing up baby.
1. Buy used. You can keep them nice and resell.
2. Encourage practical gifts from well-meaning family and friends. Not the cute stuff the baby will wear 5 minutes and never wear again.
3. Borrow.
4. Accept second hand things that people give you.
5. Think "poverty countries." They use baby sling instead of baby swing. Lay baby on ground at night on small blanket and never use baby food. Also they use infant potty training as have no diapers....

Baby Tub....sink works fine with added washclothes for cushion.
Wipes.....cut apart washcloths and add a little babysoap as needed.
Bottles.... Not really needed if you can nurse and you stay home with baby.
Car Seat.... Find used or actually pay for this to meet regulation.
Changing table.... Bedside works fine.
Cloth Diapers...... Flannel sheets sewn in diaper shape with added extra flannel works fine. Sew around edges.
Rubber Pants.....Wool works well as soaker. You may have to buy these or make some with vinal. Shower curtains for 1$ work in emergency.
Pins..... Velcro sewn two sides together so that hooks on one side and soft stuff on other work well. Make 12-24 inch strip in any way or style you like.
Clothes.... Used used used......Dollar store for quick "needed" clothing. Babies like to go in diapers only up until 3 years old anyway.
Crib....bedding in bureau drawer. I used a clothes basket once. Play pens work for older children. Co-sleeping works with safety rollover precautions.
Diaper bag.....Any sturdy bag. Used backpack works too. I sewed a nice one from scrap and saw it listed as 70 dollars on etsy.
Diaper Bucket..... Daily change a gallon icecream bucket and put on small load until baby is older.
Diaper stuff....cornstarch works if no powder on hand. Dollar store has items as long as baby isn't allergic. A good diaper cream is nice to have on hand.
Eating Essentials.... Adult spoons work fine. If you are concerned about plastic a nice adult clay bowl is fine.
Formula....if you are able to breast feed....do so up to 18 months to 2 years so that baby doesn't have to fall into illness for lack of nutrient.
Gate..... Train baby easily by flicking the hand when they reach for the door. Keep poisons, meds high. For stairway, close door or tie straps. Sometimes its best to just buy this or make one from lumberyard scrap.
Highchair.....find used one that attaches to table. Sit on lap. A towel folded around baby in adult chair works too for an emergency.
Mobile and entertainment toys....come and go. Make homemade when possible.
Pacifiers..... Don't allow or just make a toy.
Playpen....Pillows and chairs surrounding or train to sit on blanket with toys.
Shoes....Don't use until 1 year and walking. Start with soft shoes or rubber grip socks.
Baby food....hand crank device works fine. Food processor and freeze in old water bottles or what have you.
Stroller....Sling or cheap 15 dollar one at wal-mart.
Toys....boxes are more entertaining than toys.
Walker....Not necessary.
Wind-up swing......sling that is comfortable works better. Make sure mother is getting good nutrients and then baby won't cry as much and need rocking comfort.

Who can find
The Godly Gardener
He plants the seeds of kindness

Container gardening

Those of us who live in the country have the advantage of the big garden to help reduce our food bill. However urban or suburban dwellers with little or no space to garden can also supplement their food bills. If you have a patio, roof top small space or any other open area this helps significantly. Finding a large container for free can be simple. Cut the tops off of milk jugs, juice jugs, pop cans, water bottles and such with a little optional drainage port. Ask restaurants,grocery stores for 5 gallon buckets and such. You need at least 6 to 10 inches of depth to have sufficient root room for your plants. Find dirt from a river bank, dike, hidden spot in a nearby forested area, or other place where the property is pubic yet hidden with nutrients. Take the soil home and bake it in the oven for a little while on extra low heat to kill off the old weed seeds. Add a little rotting leaves, compost or other nutrient rich substance. You may also add a little peat too.

Once you have your soil in your pot, you may garden as usual. You may not have to weed as often as with regular gardening, but you will have to make sure the soil is always moist. Also if it rains regularly make sure that there is enough drainage so that small plants do not drown (I ignored some of my potted herbs and found them drown in the muck this year). You shouldn't have to weed your garden. I highly recommend you read about "square foot gardening" This will give you great ideas on small space gardening.

For those of us who live in cold climates container gardening is also great. I would like to grow some herbs, kale and lettuces indoors this winter. I hope it works.

I posted a few articles yesterday. Some I thought were pretty thoughtful and really get people to think. One was about whether or not the founders of the United States were really truly Christian and in many evidences the answer was a clear no. This article exposes that we MUST do more to enhance our nutrition and not really put full trust in our govt' to help us keep good health. We must be a thinking people who trust God's design for properly providing the right food and nutrition. I hope you read those articles and I really encourage you to do so as well!

So since I wrote those articles yesterday I noticed a few added connections and a few more likes and a few more comments. That is great. I was sleeping and didn't really need to work that hard ;) I'm happy about that. I believe a lot of the success had to do with making comments on other people's articles and liking other people's articles. That builds up the success to say the least. However, after reading through some of my articles I noticed some grammatical errors. That could be in part to my poor functioning keyboard and another part to me working on articles while I really need to give attention to my children.
