Have you ever felt absolute peace sitting by a river? Have you ever felt like you were in heaven on earth by relaxing around a group of friends? Have you noticed how the birds and the deer do not worry about their next meal and who provides for them? They are creatures made by our creator! Yes, they have beauty and provision, just by "being."
Unfortunately we do live in a fallen world. As a result, men have created "institutions" and "traditions" to keep people in "line." They may claim that these institutions provide for the poor, widow and orphan, but sometimes these particular institutions do not do what they say and are a way to control the weak people of our society.
If they are godly institutions, a child may be cared for by simply allowing the child a mat to sleep on in a clean, sanitary place and a little privacy. They do not need any more than a wall to protect the child from invaders. A child can get plenty of entertainment without the use of computers and internet. Simply reading to a child from the bible is very entertaining. The institutions will not tell you this, because they want to control the "minds" and "hearts" of the children.
What can we do to avoid being controlled by the motives of "good" people who actually don't have the "heart" to fully enhance the spirituality of the child?
1. Pray regularly. Prayer to creator helps enhance our own strength.
2. Seek God alone. His word is inspiration for our soul and teaches us how to love our friends in a way that builds them up!
3. Serve others. Do not think of serving yourself as a way to give spiritual strength. No think of serving others. Even serving "the enemy" builds strength!
4. Watch what you read and take in by entertainment choices. Entertainment that seems in opposition to the bible-message (forgiveness, mercy, clean living etc) can have back fire effect on spirituality. Read godly books, literature, inspiration stories, music and other things of that nature. Try to read books that teach pastors and other spiritual leaders how to "perform" in their ceremony and conduct their lives. By knowing the leadership methods a person is less likely to make poor spirituality choices.
Of course you may find strength in an "institutional" type of organized religion that promotes singing together, praying together and perhaps a certain clothing style so that no one is offended, but in general, the spirit needs the strength of friendships that last into eternity!
This is a secular video, but it illustrates that friendship builds up spiritual strength......without the use of institutions.....
This video lyrics speaks of the "everlasting love" that comes from heavenly father.....
When a person is trying to understand the value of your life or the lives of others around you, consider the value of a person through "heaven's eyes".....such vision comes from mere tents in the wilderness....
